Tried a few other options nothing compares to this agency !

This service feels misleading. They advertise “quality over quantity” and display impressive profiles that are likely fake, but the real matches are a major disappointment. Expectations are set extremely high, yet the match quality is poor. You can get better results from algorithmic matching at a lower price. I believe this should be reported to the Office of Fair Trading — I am very disappointed.

The treatment received at Matchmaker Sydney is so extremely different from the marketing on the website . I paid almost $1300 and was given a total of two matches over about one month.

When I attempted to remind Melanie my match maker that she had told me upon sign up that this price would cover least four matches or more, she denied this in spite that I have it in writing.

The manner that Melanie my matchmaker then spoke to me in during this last conversation where I did my best to stay calm and polite the entire time in spite of this was so negative and dismissive and rude that I eventually felt compelled to remind her that I am the client.

Interestingly one of the two dates I was connected with for this price volunteered telling me that he found the matchmaker we are with makes him feel like he is a school kid the way she talks at him and that he finds her authoritarian.

From the way this company disregards it's clients who ask questions , to the fact they do not deliver their promises Inspite of what they state they will in writing ,to the fact that the first person I was matched with voluntarily raised complaints about their experience with the company , to the fact I was literally matched with two people for almost $1300, goes to show this company is far from representing the way they market themselves on their website.

Also on the website in huge print they state 99% of people are happy , in small writing it qualified with their coaching ,but there is no where the statistics of this figure can be objective justified. Please beware . I further note this company does not appear on Google business so three is no way to give a Google review .

There are many other options for matchmakers in Sydney . I truly wish I had chosen elsewhere. I warn anyone wanting to find a matchmaker and be treated reasonably in the process to beware that for the reasons above my experience of Matchmaker Sydney is far from what it represents itself to be in its advertising .
