I studied UI/UX Design at Mate Academy on the flex course. First of all, they have an amazing learning platform. Even though everything is completely remote, if you're motivated to learn, you get fully engaged in the learning process. Mentors, chats, achievement points, tech checks, various knowledge assessments – all of this really helps you stay in the flow.

Secondly, the program itself is quite challenging, and it wasn’t easy to study. But only after I got a job and started working at a SaaS agency did I realize how well the training and projects prepared me for the real job.

I also want to highlight their English courses, which I’ve taken twice.

Additionally, their job preparation program – with mock interviews, question lists and answers, social media setup – provides everything you need to stand out as a strong candidate among beginners.

In short, Mate is my perfect match, and it’s hard to part ways with them. Highly recommend!

This is a place that easily can change your life. At least, it definitely change mine. It sounds pretty abstract, but let me explain a little.

I've enrolled into Full Stack developer course at Mate Academy at March of 2024, since then I've been learning everything I need to know to find my first job at IT industry. Starting from HTML and finishing course up with Redux, but what a experience it was!

Since the first day we've been actively communicating by coordinators, our group coach and mentors. For instance, since the start of the course every week we've had tech-check sessions with mentors, that were like a simulation of a real technical interview. That really helped a lot to prepare yourself to real tech-interview.

Each day we've had a lecture from a group coach that was one of the friendliest lecturers I've ever seen in my life. Lessons were filled with humor, positive atmosphere and that helped to learn some material a lot.

Additionally, if you're struggling with a home task, topic understanding or a technical problem, you can visit two QnA sessions with mentors per day, that will be glad to help you.

At the end of course, I've been actively prepared for an HR-screenings and communication with recruiters by mock-interviews and employment lessons, all of those were really-really useful, as they completely transformed my understanding of what interview is overall!

At last, after getting an offer for a job, I'd like to greatly thank Mate Academy. They really are able to turn your life upside down, transforming you into competitive developer at market. Thank you so much, Mate!

I recently completed a Python Developer course.
What I liked the most was the comprehensive support from mentors and coordinators, as well as the thorough job preparation, including tech checks, recommendations and assistance with resume.

I was also impressed by the learning platform, which includes well-structured videos, plenty of practical tasks, communication channels and job search tools. Everything is convenient and well-organized.

Additionally, I enjoyed the competitions between students and the motivational messages)

I had a great experience with my Recruitment course. There I got a lot of initial information. That was more than enough for a start. The Mate academy team is wonderful and gives you support from the very beginning.

The studying based mostly on the practical tasks. It includes all the stages and important knowledge to start the new career. The best thing is the constant support from mentors and the opportunity to see the mistakes, correct them and grow. Personally I liked the flexible way of studying. And could choose the most convenient time and place to do the tasks. The platform allows you to be in touch of many companies and to find the first job pretty fast. So it happened to me. A wonderful Ukrainian product. I am very glad that we have finally gained access to a concentrated source of high-quality and constantly updating information in the field of information technology. I have not seen on the territory of Ukraine a more rational opportunity to start in this field, especially for beginners. I know that Mate also trains people from other countries, but I am more aware of training Ukrainian citizens. I can definitely recommend it to those who want not only to gain basic skills and knowledge sufficient to get started, but also to get an example of an approach to high-quality and rational code writing.

Mate has a very good working process that allows you to learn a lot of useful information. Coming to Mate I have already had some little work experience, but struggled with developing my skills and finding a new job. The employment managers are great and helped with everything I needed!

A year ago, I received a call from Mate Academy asking about my future plans. Working in IT had always been a long-standing, though unrealized, dream of mine. I applied to the IT Generation program and independently studied JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, but my efforts did not lead to employment. However, this process allowed me to establish connections with recruiters at Mate Academy, which led to that call. I passed the selection process and, within a month, began a full-time full-stack course.

If you've heard that full-time IT courses are challenging, believe it — they are. You can even double your expectations. However, the more you study before the course, the easier it will be. Over the next three and a half months, each morning will start with two or three tasks of varying difficulty (and so you'll raise your kata level on Codewars). Saturdays and Sundays will be dedicated to catching up on your studies. Your progress will be closely monitored by coaches and mentors for your own good. Preparation for employment, including trial HR and technical interviews, will begin in the second or third month. Everything you learn, and more, will be needed for a two-week team project with 4-5 classmates at the end of the course. A link to this project will be the main proof of your skills on your CV when job hunting.

In addition to foundational knowledge of React and Node, this course will teach you how to organize your working day and effectively learn new technologies. The subsequent job search may last as long as the course itself, and during this time, you will need to continue learning independently to improve your employment chances. Mate Academy will actively support you during this period. And when you finally secure a job, the courses at MA will undoubtedly be among your most cherished memories and achievements.

I want to write a sincere review about my experience in Mate Academy. I was studying at the position of QA Engineer. I can't say that it was easy but with all the great support from mentors and coordinators, it was a very pleasing time. I gained much knowledge that I'm using now. They give a huge start and support all the way to job offer, so I can recommend such a great school.

Styding at Mate academy gives you profound theoretical and practical knowledge no matter which course you want to master, valuable feedback and support from mentors, a lot of interesting tasks and projects during styding.
English classes and communication between students enhances your soft skills which are as important as hard skills.
Definitely the best way to start IT career

I recently graduated from Mate Academy and have already received a job offer! The knowledge they provide is extensive but be prepared for the intensive pace of the program. Of course, your contribution is essential, but Mate Academy makes you feel comfortable not only with coding, but software development too, which is far more valuable.

The site looks very professional and after you finish their questionnaire they will ask you to sign up for a plan.

My problem is that the website is showing a timer saying "Discount valid for" which starts at 10 minutes and counts down. I will never trust a site that uses these kinds of strategies. Fake discounts are also illegal. Nothing happens when it hits 0 btw and you can just reload the page to reset the timer...

It is the best IT educational courses I have ever seen. I am a QA. I have been studying by myself for one year and then my friend told me about Mate Academy. And I did my best to enter the full-time QA course. It was the best decision in my QA career. I have learned there not only QA stuff, but more - much more about JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, Automation testing, and many other useful information. Also, there is a huge amount of PRACTICE. Mentors carefully review each task until it's perfect. They are ready to help when you have software or computer problems. And the entire atmosphere is friendly and calm. The English classes are designed in a way where you can choose a class, a teacher, a time that fits your schedule, your English level, and even a topic of a lesson. I love English at Mate Academy. It is a brilliant thing, as a courses itself.

I've been student of Mate Academy for half a year, and it was the best time of my entire education life. I can't imagine better studying IT experience then in Mate, including best english teachers, cool mentors from top companies and the most friendly couches ever. I personally recommend!

Here I've spent a really important, extremely useful, sometimes hard but really brave and glorious 5 months of my life. While learning on a Front-End/Full-Stack course, I've solved over 300 practical tasks, created several pet projects for my future CV:

3 beautiful Landing Pages with pixel-perfect, responsive design;
React to-do Application with API, smart UI, and great performance;
2048 Game, on Vanilla JS (nice point in your portfolio!);
Final Project: an e-commerce Apple Store with Cart, Favorites, product props, responsive design, and other great features. Here I've worked with a team of 6 developers, my former groupmates.
Every day, from 9 to 18, day after day, week after week, I've become stronger. My skills improved from console.log("Hello, World!"); straight to completely full-stack development, from daily meetings to deploying, rendering, and making a demo of your project.

Here (after only 1.5 months of searching) I've found my very first job. Tech interviews while hiring for my future job were clear and totally easy.

So - Mate Academy is nothing but the Best IT-school.

I've completed the full-time course and it was great. It was challenging, but it's a great preparation for real work conditions. At Mate, I've learned not only how to be a designer, but also how to be a good worker, and how to manage my time and deal with stress. Also, Mate has a great English course, I liked it because I've improved my speaking a lot, now I am confident in my English and can easily communicate with anyone. The great thing is that a lot of English tutors at Mate are native speakers. It was worth it, I've improved myself a lot while taking this course.
