MSP has closed doors without notice. PV owners and lessees have no idea where they get warranty repairs. Very sad.

I have had my system for less than a year! For the pass 5 months my Maui electric bill has been getting higher and higher. I have not changed my electric usage. Maui Solar Project (MSP) has not responded to me in over a week. I am sadden that I need to leave a review. The sales pitch and set up was awesome, they took my money and I was advised that that my bill will be close to Zero with Maui electric in the up coming months.(with just some admin fees) That was a lie! Currently my PV system is not producing electricity and I am running off of Maui Electric. I am stuck with a loan for my PV and also paying Maui Electric. MSP has yet to return my calls and there had been no one in the office here on Maui at all this week. Super Sad that a Maui Company would do this to their customers. My unit needs to be fixed and I expect a full refund for the electricity I am paying for due to the lack of customer service on your behalf Maui Solar Project! This issues should have been fixed the first time you guys came our a few months ago. This is now going to be the 3rd time. I could only imagine I am not the first customer with am issue as such. That is getting ripped off by this company and I know there are alot of happy customers as well. This is why I went with yall in the first place. Just make it right and fix my PV, please!.. Standing by for assistance!!

Great company with good people! Lambert took care of us and our solar needs with exceptional service and knowledge. So easy to work with and got the job done fast. So happy with Maui Solar Project. We will definitely use them again & recommend to all our family and friends.

Maui Solar Project provided prompt and excellent service!!!! I was with another local solar company for 9 years and consistently had trouble getting my PV serviced in a timely manner sometime takings months to get a service call resolved. The other company filed BK chapter 11 and my service call 3 weeks earlier went unanswered. Having two PV panels out then getting the bad news about the BK prompted me to switch to Maui Solar Project. Lambert took my request on Thursday to switch my servicing to MSP and by the following Friday I got a call...panels received at MSP warehouse...crew came out...two panels replaced on my roof...Just like that!!!! Highly, highly highly recommend switching service providers to MSP. They are the best!!!

I am very pleased. My system is installed and working great. I have such peace of mind.

Very professional service. They got back to me quickly, listened to my needs and kept me updated throughout the process. Lambert was a great communicator and clearly knew his business. He designed a system that fit our needs and our available space. It has been about a year now since our solar water installation and all is going well. I will certainly recommend Maui Solar Project to others.

From start to finish, working with Lambert and the various crews was great. They are true professionals and were easy to work with and answered all of our questions. They quoted the project at a fair price and followed thru with everything as quoted. They communicated with us thru every step of the project and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in solar, ac and water heaters and PV.

We chose Maui Solar Project after extensive discussions with many solar contractors on Maui and through discussion settled on a 6.5 KWh PV system. First of all, working with our project manager, Makana was our project manager and she was very helpful at every step of the process before, during and after the install was complete. Our installation was excellent and very efficient from start to finish with a very professional crew. They helped us in advance by providing precise details in order for us to remodel the installation area. Keoni was our lead electrician and was very thorough in answering all of our questions about the install and the function of our system. We also interacted with Rob Hilbun regarding the meter install issues with MECO and he also shared all kinds of useful information about the system we installed as well. Finally, when we had additional questions about the monitoring system, Lambert Ho'opi'i was also extremely helpful and very responsive. He made other good energy saving suggestions such as a water heater timer to further optimize energy usage off the grid. Whenever, we had questions, we felt as if we got the best personal attention. Overall, we also felt that in terms of the materials used, MSP balances the costs with performance (panels, inverter and battery storage) and encouraged us to do our own research before signing on. We feel this system strikes that balance giving us a more affordable system without compromising quality and performance. We have some future plans for this system now that it has been in place in our location and will be asking them to perform future work. They have been most willing to help us with a relatively temporary install until we can complete the additional work. We are now saving well over $100 per month. Thank you, MSP!

Really appreciated the quickness and efficiency of Maui Solar Project. We got our system installed just in time for summer and now can use our AC all we want without worrying about the ridiculously high electric bill!!

Over the several years we have MSP put in 108 electric panels ,a back up battery and a solar hot system. They were very professional, on time and well crafted installations. I highly recommend them .

We are very pleased and satisfied with Maui Solar. We had 2 other bids and the professional presentation of MSP was the most clear and their account of their product was, we felt, superior to the others. MSP was prompt, professional and very diligent in their work once we decided to have them do our project.
In addition to their representatives, the installers were adept at their work, and very courteous and friendly as they worked on our solar install. Each step was explained to us as they progressed and any questions we had were answered promptly and, satisfactorily.
We would not hesitate to recommend MSP to all who would inquire. They are number one in our rating. A special thanks to all at MSP who helped us with this project including but not limited to Makana Jaynes, Lambert & several other great people.
