Maverick-race finds the best locations for trail running races that are well organised and inclusive to all abilities. I’ve attended numerous of their events and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Their Run Project runs offer a free-of-charge option to experience trail running and meet friendly people too. Highly recommended!

I have been volunteering for, and running with Maverick race for over a year. Their events are great for escaping the busy life in London. If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere and stunning trails, then Maverick race events are the place to be. One of my favourite things is that everyone (including dogs!) are welcome, whether you just started running or are racing regularly. Each event has multiple distances to choose from, which makes it convenient to find a distance that works for you. A nice addition is that the photographers shoot the most beautiful pictures, which are available after the race whitin a few days - free of charge.

Done over 20 Maverick races in the last 6 years, the routes are challenging but scenic, organisation is 2nd to none. Well stocked aid stations, dog friendly, great marshalls and generous cut offs. Excellent medals and goodies at the end too. Can't wait to do more.

I raced my first Maverick event back in 2018 and have been hooked ever since. Always supportive marshals and great finish line vibes (i need the playlist for those tunes!). I also attended one of the camps in Chamonix and had such an amazing time - a super friendly and social environment to explore mountain trails and meet like minded people 🙌

Having raced with pretty much every running events out there I definitely can tell something special when I see it. Maverick Race is definitely the very best. They cater for every single runner in a very supportive way, from the young to the old, elite speed machines to the shufflers, everyone is supported in the same way. It feels like a close knit family. Routes are marked very well and the countryside the pick is just wonderful. It doesn’t get better than this.

I recently ran with Maverick Race in Exmoor and cannot recommend this company highly enough. Incredible routes, perfectly marked, exceptional marshals and staff, great atmosphere, aid stations are excellent and seems like a really inclusive company. Their free photos are absolutely incredible as well. The event village was so good and the sense of community was like I’ve never experienced. Definitely an excellent company to run with and felt safe and part of something special.

Wasn't really into trail running (or running) before I discovered Maverick's events. My first event was along the Jurassic Coast which was one of the coolest races I've done in my life. Since then I've done dozens more Maverick races. The atmosphere is ace, the team are great, and their races allow you to see some of the best parts of the UK. Genuinely couldn't recommend enough.

The best of the best! Great events! Great atmosphere with race vibes from start to finish second to none. No other race event company comes close to what the guys and girls at team Maverick have to offer. You won’t be disappointed.

A great event! Their races are really well laid out and exciting. They have different ability levels so it's perfect for anyone. Really chilled vibes with lots of different food and drink options after your race. Also great pumping tunes!!!

Great routes and well marked courses.

Always fabulous locations along with encouraging marshalls along the way.

Not forgetting the medals and well earned beer at the finish.

Really well organised, pre race information including routes and gpx very handy. Courses always good with great marshall support, start finish area has great atmosphere and good partners. Most of all it is the friendly vibe, whether you are a hard core ultra runner or a first time trail runner, that makes the races so enjoyable.

Maverick hosts the best trail running events. The event atmosphere is amazing, all of the staff and volunteers are really welcoming and the event village vibe is awesome. It’s a great way to meet likeminded people, they have distances for beginners through to ultra, all on trails and the race locations are always stunning. Can’t wait for the next one!

Done quite a few trail running events now with Maverick and loved every one of them. I am not the best runner and I am always one of the back markers, but for me, it's being able to race at my own pace and not feel under pressure with tight cut off times. Of course there will be faster or elite runners taking part but everyone is made to feel welcome no matter your ability. Even during the race the faster runners will ask if your ok and give you encouragement to carry on.There are always be 3 different distances from 5k up to Marathon 42k and even an Ultra on the X Series Events for those crazy enough. This way they cater for all abilities to come and have a go at trail running. give it a go like I did and you will be hooked.

Have taken part in around a dozen Maverick events now and they are always a delight. Well marked and marshalled with good attention to detail. Fantastic routes with the right blend of flowing trails and sadistic hills, and well run aid stations. The post race swag is always quality too

Third time doing the Maverick X-Series Exmoor event, and managed to convince multiple family members to sign up for their first maverick event as well. The event is really well organised, great location (night stay at the really good campsite included in the entry price), and incredible scenery (start to finish). Staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Chris and Laura. I've already got another couple of events booked in later in the year as well.

Beautiful routes and absolutely brilliant atmosphere!
I love sitting in the deck chairs having a celebratory pizza (or one of the amazing cakes- the catering companies are also highly recommended!) after the race.
These races make a great weekend away, would definitely recommend to any friends!

Such a great vibe at every race. Every course is well thought through and well sign posted in addition to being in beautiful spots around the country. Can’t say enough great things about these guys.
