They Quoted One Price Over the Phone
They Quoted One Price Over the Phone, Knew We Were Checking Prices. Their "quote" Was NOT What They Charged. We had a Simple Oil Change With Synthetic, Asked for Out the Door, They Had All Information. They Knew Their "Quote" Would Be Lower, Knowing Once Vehicle Was There & They Handed the "Bill" It Was Over $20 Higher, From Quoted $100 to $120 + Taxes, Which Would've Made Them the Highest, Not the Lowest Quote for Same Work on Same Day. So, I Remembered this Happened Last year, Told My Husband, That's Why We did the "Shop" & Compared, But When They Lie, What He Should've done Was to Say "Hey, You Quoted Over the Phone $100.00", Why Now That Price Just 45 Minutes Ago Changed to $120+? Now We Also Don't Trust Them for Anything Else. They Didn't Do The "Free" Balance Because They Printed Out a List of Other Things We Need to Do & Said Our Tires Are Old, They Have Less than 15K miles on them, Maybe less than 10K, Looking for Receipt. With Just The Not Quoting Honestly Over the Phone We Know Not To "Trust" Them With Anything Else. The Other 2 Auto Co's Within 2 Miles of each Other, Both Would've Been Cheaper than Mavis's For Again, a Simple Oil Change, Let Alone Anything Else They'd Recommend.
