Poor. Customer service,unresourceful manger on duty, with limited communication skills
Went to Mavis after scheduling an appt online. Called to confirm prior to arrival. Arrived 10 mins early checked in and waited for state insp . Spencer I beleive was the on duty manager according to himself. After 45 mins ,he advised me that I would failing due to 5mm wheel spacers on rear wheels . I asked him can we just removed them and proceed,he said they they couldn't due that. I asked if I can have the spacers removed without doing the state insp. He said no. So I have to remove them myself, which is ok with me but strange so tire shop cant removed spacers at owners request . So I asked Spencer wouldn't it be good customer service to advised the customer prior to the insp to save both parties time. He hesitated and tried to say no. Bit finally admitted it would have been better customer service, since the new enforcement of enhanced insp. Also the law says spacers larger then 1/4 inch, my spacers were smaller, so they could have completed the insp per the law. And to top ot off my cars was parked out front ready to go , but manager Spencer went outside to chat it up with others customers, wasting 25 more mins of my time. Total time 1:30,for half of an state insp. I askdd for store manager name, Spencer said they dont have a store manager just him

Just like always (takes too long)
No matter what I come to have done there, it takes too long., Even a small problem scheduled in advance & first thing in the morning. I never really had issues with the work (just time consumption). Switched to Meineke for this reason alone, they ALWAYS get me in and out. No one wants to spend all day waiting- plus badgering to cancel scheduled appointment at other shop, even after politely declining several times.
