Mavis Tire - Myrtle Beach Reviews 3

Had an appointment at Mavis at 2075 501 s in Myrtle beach at 3pm to have a tire repaired that picked up a nail. I arrived on time for appointment and the guy behind counter was helpful. My vehicle did not begin to be worked on until 4:45 pm I can only imagine what time it will be finished as slow as this process is going. Will not return to this location in the future. I’ve always had great luck with the Carolina forest and Socastee locations but chose the wrong shop today. 2.5 hour wait to be told they can’t work on my tire because their equipment won’t handle my tire size(37’s)! They chipped my rim in the process of trying to remove the tire and didn’t secure my hood before returning my vehicle to me. I was supposed to have a tire rotation and brake check in which they chose not to do as well! When I asked about the long wait the manager told me that they all needed to have their breaks, that they hadn’t had one all day. Called discount tire and they will be fixing it for me tomorrow!

Customer service rep and Sandy reached out and took care of me. Appreciate the great follow up and customer service from them.

Went in for a simple tire rotation. They said I needed struts and shocks. My car has 61,000 miles. That’s it. Then, they broke my axle. Could not drive my car home. Had to find a ride home and then back the next day. I asked the old parts be put in my car as I was taking it to Honda to check Mavis’ work. Honda said the parts Mavis put in the back of car were not my Honda parts. They were aftermarket. Did they sell my Honda parts? What were they hiding? They tried to charge me for the axle. I’ll never go back.

Everything was handled efficiently and quickly. I was back on the road in no time. Thank goodness for a road hazard insurance.
