For more than 50 years, Mavis has been selling discount tires that are identical to tires sold elsewhere at higher prices. Mavis has the expertise and experience to provide our customers with their ideal tires and save them money in the process.

After attending an event at Rutgers University, my husband and I discovered we had run over a nail and our tire was rapidly losing air. With a long drive home ahead of us, we knew a temporary fix wouldn’t be enough. Thankfully, we came across Mavis Discount Tire.
From the moment we arrived, the team was incredibly helpful. Dionel greeted us right away, explained there would be a short wait, and reassured us that they could take care of the issue. Despite not having an appointment, the team got us in within about 20 minutes. While we waited, Dionel’s friendly, lighthearted demeanor helped ease our stress and made an inconvenient situation much more manageable.
James and Carlos in the shop were equally impressive—working quickly and efficiently to get us safely back on the road. Beyond the quality of the repair, what stood out most was the team’s genuine care for their customers and the positive, welcoming environment they created.
Because of this experience, I would absolutely rate this location a 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone in need of reliable, professional service.

I do not normally leave reviews.
This Mavis left my car unsafe to drive. Store did not take ownership of their error even though the work was in the system. Store manager was unprofessional and never bothered to return my call. Employees smoke weed while working and do donuts in their parking lot.
Another Mavis Store corrected their mistakes and a month later ensured my car was still safely running.
I was not the first customer to go to another Mavis location with an issue caused by the Piscataway Mavis.
Do NOT bring your car there!

Excellent customer service. Megan was very friendly down to earth her team was also very patient and understanding. Had an issue with my tire sensor light coming on. And one tire losing air. Looked at exactly what I said was my problem. Checked the tires for me and gave me straight honest answers will definately be back again. Will refer to friends.
My car broke down and I had it towed to Mavis. I had never had my car serviced there before. The staff were courteous and very helpful. They diagnosed the problem immediatedly and I was given a cost estimate. The estimate given was a fair price. Since I lived 90 miles away, I was assured that my vehicle would be ready for my trip home. They were diligent in completing the repairs. I can't say enough about the professionalism from the managers, Noelle and Schuyler, and the rest of the Mavis staff. Since they deserve 5 stars, I would highly recommend Mavis and its outstanding employees!
The customer service representatives were very welcoming, courteous and professional. i had an appointment and my car was taken in for service right away and completed in an expedient manner.
Quick courteous service. Turned out I did not need the tire replaced, they were very honest in telling me that. They did replace bad bulb advised me to see my dealer possible electrical problem. I will continue to use this facility for all of my basic car and tire needs. Recommend them highly!
Very professional staff and always honest. Their work exceeds expectations.
