If I could rate it a MINUS ZERO I would! WORST place ever! My son had his car at the Mavis in Plymouth MA to have 4 tires he bought thru them mounted on his car. 3 days later and 5 trips to this dealership to get the tires done. Normally 1-2 hr job. They NEVER call to update you and lie to your face saying they call you back. Stupid in this day and age with cell phone RECORDS, email, text and voicemail all available on your cell phone you think you can pass off that lie. So my son drops off the car at 8am as he was told but they don’t open till 9 am classic. So now the car is there day 1 for the new tires to be mounted. So expecting the car to be done my son goes there to pick up his car and no tires on car and no call to tell him that so drove there for nothing. They claim they could not get the tires on the car at first because they were cold and stored with weight on them collapsing them and they needed to be “warmed” up to be mounted. That was lie # 1. Then after the car sat in their garage overnight and the tires in the warm heated lobby they would mount them. They told him he would be first and the car would be done. Again no call no updates. So we drive up there again mind you I’m driving my son and it’s a 40 min drive both ways. This is day 2 in this nightmare. He gets there and they say they could only get 2 of the 4 tires on and they can’t “make” the other 2 fit. When my son says what is going on your joking me as he took time from work to get his car! They stated that they got these tires from a vendor that they use, but they had to get them from a third party due to the size of the tires! Lie #2. Of course the “Covid” blame and not their fault. Tires are not a common size so that should make it less in demand and available .. lie # 3. Who’s fault is it..you said you could get that size tire no problem. You make the appointment for his car and now you get defective tires from your vendor that you do business with and you are trying to pass the buck. Then the manager has the nerve to say well maybe you ordered the wrong size tires lie #4. The size tire my son ordered thru them was the size of the spare and the size of the old tires they removed. Do they think we are stupid? So now my sons car has 2 tires on the car only and still on the lift! So they tell him they are taking the tires to another town and putting them on a machine that will blow air in them to raise them up to be mounted, they do not have that piece of equipment there. So my son decides to wait and hope this will be resolved. Nope I have to drive back another 40 min to pick him up because they have other customers cars to fix and they have to get the tires to this town and back and won’t have it done till end of day I mean from them to Weymouth is maybe 40-45 min the time and distance I’m driving over and over to their dealership... it’s not like they are driving to NY..but fear not the manager says it will be done by the end of today day 2..lie # 5. So now no calls no updates and at 5 pm from work which my son took some time off 2nd day in a row for this fiasco he calls them since they close at 6pm and they did not call him.I am present and they tell him still only 2 tires on the car! The manager offers to put 2 of his old tires on the car and he can pay for the 2 new tires they got on.My son says let me call you back. He calls back in 20 min after discussing this with his father and I stating forget this take the new tires off the front I’m not paying for these tires in the front you had to “make fit “. I can’t trust you this has been a 2 day fiasco with me taking time out of work and please put my 4 old tires back on I’m going some place else. The manager says NO problem you can pick the car up in the morning. So my son calls corporate and leaves a detail complaint for the regional manager and he is assured he will get a call first thing in the morning! Well for corporate that’s 9am generally! But 4th trip to this Mavis and the car still only has 2 tires on it. It seems between 5:30pm and 6pm my sons old tires all 4 of them happened to be picked up for recycling even though the manager said he could put 2 and then 4 of the old tires back on humm.lie # 6. He didn’t call us and again we drive up there for nothing Day 3 of this fiasco! The reg manager has not called my son back so I’m on my phone in the car calling them while he’s in the store getting the latest bull from the manager. Just to let you know it takes 24 - 48 hrs for regional to call you back really? So now leaving again and the reg manager finally calling saying she coming to that Mavis. and will be there by 12 noon it’s 9:15am. So she states she’s going to look into the problem and call my son back don’t worry we will work it out. So my son goes to work and by 2 pm he’s texting me the reg manager has not called back but the manager at that Mavis called and said his car is all set! All set at what cost? 3 days of hell! LIES & UNPROFESSIONAL! Go somewhere else! Even with the compensation he got from reg mgr not worth it ! HORRIBLE!!
