Illegal practices by 1810 South Lake Drive
The location on 1810 South Lake Drive, run by Todd, is very corrupt. They charged me for a full alignment and only after I payed and went out to check on my car did I see that they not just didn’t do an alignment, but they “forgot to notify me” that their alignment machine was broken. Thankfully, an associate Scott was kind enough to direct me to another Mavis location (910 E Main Street) that was actually honest about their capabilities. Their, I got the help I needed and Russel actually helped me with some issues with the breaks that I was talking about in the prior location (which claimed that there were no break issues, even though I had almost no break pads left). It is also worth noting that for location on 1810 South Lake Drive, the supervisor Todd was saying he would give people a five percent discount if they gave a five star review, which is an illegal violation of the FTC law(s). And given their position in the store, they must know what they are doing is illegal.
I would like to reiterate that the other location I visited, the 910 East Main Street, did no such violations and actually spent the time explaining each expense.
