Very friendly and helpful

The patience and customer service skills found at this store are above and beyond what I have experienced at other similar businesses. The manager was helpful working me in into their schedule (I was a walk-in). He was very professional taking my information, explaining the process, and working my issue. I will certainly come back here for my future car needs.

At Mavis always is not to much talking, but a lot of work.
At Mavis after a short conversation for your problem consider the service done in no time

Very friendly and honest. The guys at this location are the best. I won’t take my car anywhere else. If you’re thinking about taking your car to the dealer for tires, inspection, oil change etc. you need to go to Mavis Transit Rd Amherst first.

Jason and Gavin are awesome!!!! I found a screw in my tire and they were able to get me in to repair it on a late Sunday afternoon. I am beyond grateful for both their willingness to help and for being so expedient!

Basic customer service ( or lack of it ) warrants this review.
Booked my car in online for a NYSI and Oil Change , made the appointment Wednesday for a Friday lunchtime appt.

Showed up a couple of minutes early.

Employee - "What you here for ?"

Me - "Oil Change and NYSI,, I booked online "

Employee - " We can do the Oil Change, but we're out of inspection stickers"

Me - " When did you learn about this, just now? "

Employee - " No we knew all day"

Me - " You had my appointment on the schedule, you can see it had an NYSI, you had my phone number...you didn't think to call instead of making me drive out"

Employee - Shrugs Shoulders

Incredible, if you guys can't figure out the basics then no i'm not leaving my car with you.

Thankfully Monro Tire up the street managed to squeeze me in and had me in and out in around an hour.
If you live around here and are considering Mavis, maybe consider Monro ...their employees seem to have a brain

Brian gives excellent customer service at the Mavis on Mansfield road in Shreveport every time I go in there I’m treated with respect and professionalism If you want your brakes or tires done right go see Brian at Mavis he will take care of you like family He also has another excellent worker there Matt they both are great guys but Brian is the best…..❤️❤️❤️❤️

I can't tell you how awesome Jason is. The only bad thing is that since he is so good, so many people come back to him and so he is always busy. He is worth the wait and I understand why he is busy.

Was told I had a free wheel alignment.
Was charged on receipt but not reversed on receipt

Brakes needed rotors and pads. Was charged $425 an axle - after work was done I called a Mavis 4 miles away and they were charging $370 an axle.

They used the wheel alignment charge to get to $425 an axle

Called manager within 2 hours of getting home - was very rude.

Do not go here. You will get overcharged.

Will never ever go to mavis for anything again. Made an appointment online for an inspection on a Friday. When I got there they told me they don't do inspection on mon or Fri the guys there but he doesn't do inspections I showed him my confirmation. He didnt care! I said make me an appointment for tue he said you dont need one he'll be here znd do it. So I came back on Tuesday and was told he didnt have time come back wed. Do you think I have time to run around playing games? Mavis sucks!!!

Tires I wanted were in stock, installation was able to be scheduled at a convenient time, and the price was best I could find.

Went to leave work, my car battery was dying. Tried two places with no luck, called Mavis and even though they were about to close they told me to come over and they would take care of it. Got there and Zach was very kind and helpful. Replaced my battery and got me on my way. Stayed latter to make sure I was all set. I highly recommend Mavis as it's not the first time they have helped me out.
