broken glass

I ordered multiple light fixtures. One had broken glass and they promptly kept shipping replacements poorly packed that would be broken too. Been dealing with for over 2 months. Totally unresponsive now.

Recently ordered 4 sets of lights, they cancelled the shipment and haven't returned the money

Recently ordered 4 sets of lights. They have shipped the item and then suddenly returned to sender with zero communication. After asking about what has happened with the order they said it was a mistake and wouldn't honor the original price. They said that they would refund as soon as they got the money. Clearly a joke of a company in terms of customer support and honesty.

Stay away at all costs

I was not finding my order online and Chris answered promptly, was able to find my order with the customer no. And approve my return. He was helpful and efficient.

Installation difficulties with the Vessel 3-light fixture

I installed the Vessel 3-light fixture, #2652, in my study. The instruction and parts provided were insufficient. The one-inch threaded nipples for mounting the fixture base to the ceiling plate were not long enough to accommodate a 1/8 inch thick ceiling medallion. No threads protruded beyond the fixture base. I had to purchase hard to find 1 1/4 inch 36 treads per inch bolts. Both mounting holes were drilled 1/2 inch from the decorative scroll extensions making it virtually impossible to hold the fixture base to the ceiling with one hand while screwing the tiny round nuts onto the protruding stems. After dropping the nut several times, I succeeded by using a small nut-driver with the little round nut shimmed in its socket.

I had no instructions for mounting the lens to the threaded stem to leave sufficient threads at both ends. I had to experiment with the assemble separately. With the lens assembly on my desktop, using a straightedge laid across the top of the lens, I adjusted the lens retaining disk lock-nut until an equal number of threads (5) extended from both the ceiling mount and the finial ends. I then removed the lens from the stem without moving the lens retaining disk lock-nut. Then, I screwed the stem into its ceiling mount with 5 full turns and fixed it in place with its lock-nut followed by the lense retaining disk, lens, finial retaining disk, and 5 full turns of the finial-nut. The stem should have fixed hubs at the ceiling mount and lens retaining plate rather than movable lock-nuts. A few extra threads at each end would also give assurance of a secure mounting.

As a driven analytical problem-solver with lots of tools, installation took 6-hours. I suspect that most people would have given up and returned the lamp. Except for these installation caveats, the light is of good quality and looks great.

This was a great shopping experience

This was great shopping experience. The web site was easy to use and I appreciated the 20% new client welcome bonus. The item was exactly as described and arrived reasonably fast within 5 days which included a weeekend so in reality it only took 3 business days. I am very pleased with the service and quality of the product and recommend this company.

The lights we bought we're all … a very modern style and unusual

The lights we bought we're all manufactured in China. Honestly not the highest quality but they were quite unusual and exactly what we were looking for. We bought two that we're supposed to match but the light Globes were considerably different. That was disappointing. The company did have a good return policy in that if we had not installed something we could send it back. Keep in mind sometimes it's hard to see if you have a problem until after it is installed. That might give you reason for pause. You also have to go through a fairly complicated return authorization request process. I would buy from them again I think you just have to be aware of what you're getting.

Great company!

Great company to deal with. Ordered 2 lights and one came with wrong glass. I called and they immediately sent the correct glass and didn't ask me to do anything. Received everything very quickly!!! Will by from them again!

I highly recommend Maxim Lighting International to anyone who demands superior quality light fixtures that will last for many years. The excellent sales representatives are 10 Star in assisting with orders, absolutely no hassle returns. Available 7 days a week. Always helpful in answering any questions you may have. Give em call.

I bought a name brand semi mount ceiling fixture from One-Stop that cost appreciably less with them compared to all other online competitors, PLUS shipping was free (Fed Ex).

Highly Recommended
