Bought a can for my BMW F800ST last October and only just got round to fitting it. Wish I had done it sooner. It has livened up the bike no end together with a nice mellow sound which is not too intrusive and the quality is excellent and looks great. Thank you.

Martin, the owner of MTC, has designed and developed specific exhaust systems for my last four bikes, including a 2007 Honda fireblade, a 2016 BMW S1000R, a 2009 Yamaha FZ1S and the latest a Triumph Tiger Sport. The quality of his work is second to none, his attention to detail is unrivalled and his friendly approachable manner makes him an absolute pleasure to deal with. I have no hesitation in recommending MTC (Max Torque Cans) to anyone who is looking to upgrade their stock motorcycle exhaust system to an exceptional quality and performance system that will not only improve the performance of your bike but will look and sound great as well and all for an affordable price.
Thanks again Martin.

Went to MTC on a recommendation from my friend even though it's a mission to get to from where i live. They took the time to understand what i wanted and explain how we could achieve it.
Price was insanely good and quality of work is brilliant. The chaps were super friendly and seemed genuinely happy that i was happy which is always a good sign.
My pipes sound even better than i could have dreamed and at a fraction of the cost i was expecting. Will defo be using these guys again and will be recommending to my biker buddies for sure.
PS- thanks for the pen, magnet, stickers etc. it's a small thing but a brilliant little touch that makes you stand out.

Having looked at all the various exhaust suppliers for my BMW F800R, I decided to place an order with MTC on Monday morning and the silencer was ready for collection the following morning. Whilst collecting my can, I had a good look round the workshop and was highly impressed by the good old-fashioned engineering processes being carried out. No cheapo Chinese imports to be seen here!
I fitted the carbon can easily in half an hour and it looked superb and sounded even better!
A great little company supplying an excellent product.

I know the company and know Martin. They are an honest, trustworthy, down to earth true British company we are proud to he associated with having bought a fair few end cans from them and recommended others. Never had any issue dealing with them, their quality and service is second to none and frankly better than the Termi's and Akra's of this world.

Same experience as the chap below, our Ducati Panigale was abused by this firm. I heard a story whereby Martin Leigh the owner of this firm had been summoned to court a few years back for servicing a chaps bike and leaving the oil drain plug loose .... Inevitably the plug came loose, the chap had a nasty accident and the incident reported to the police and a subsequent court case commenced. "On oath" Martin Leigh Max Torque Cans, swore blind he did not service the bike, instead stating an employee must have commissioned the service without his knowledge and then threw one of his workers under the bus! An ex employee recently reached out to us and explained to us how they fitted the new Ducati exhaust loosely then turned the bike on, silly, silly mistake! The end can according to his ex employee blew off and a blue flame entered the engine! The machine has never run the same since.... When confronting the firms MTC Exhausts, or Max Torque Cans they completely deny any knowledge of even fitting the bespoke exhaust! Completely un-trust worthy, avoid at all costs if you like your machine working. Thanks for reading.

Don't deal with these people
They had my bike for months ( Martin said this was due a particular size/bore of the downpipes) and when I got the bike back, the list of damage was
Twisted subframe
Dented tank (needed a complete respray)
Bent handlebars
Risers damaged
forward controls bent
Billet speedo and indicators damaged
Heated grips damaged
Visible weld on the downpipe
The damage was to both sides of the bike, no one in the shop knew what happened yet when Martin saw the bike, he initially offered to write a cheque but when he assured me he would replace parts like for like and would do the work himself to save costs, I agreed,
He then had the bike for another month saying he was waiting for parts.
He knocked £200 of the bill for the tank, didnt replace the speedo, forward controls still bent, reg plate still twisted.
This is a custom bike, never fired up with all parts damaged being brand new. The whole process has taken over 6 months.
Martin and the staff still deny knowing to what happened.
I can show photos of the bike before going to MTC undamaged and the bike afterwards. Would happily discuss with anyone.
Just a short note to say how pleased I was with my new slip on exhaust.
On my 1992 CB750F2n, the original pipework was replaced with a Laser Pro Dor complete system, coupled with a K&N air filter and Dyno Jet kit. As far as I could tell the pipe made little to no difference, and sounded only marginally different and not better.
Due to personal circumstances the bike was laid up for 15 years and returned to the road for commuting and in time for the 2019 IOM TT. It was after this that I decided to look further into the subject and eventually chose one of your Road Legal Max Torque twin output ovoid cans. My choice really came down to the fact I could actually speak to the manufacturer and talk about about my requirements. I already had the down tubes and intermediate pipe of the old system so only needed to spec a 70mm inlet in clamp fitting.
Your team were knowledgeable and helpful to my questions and a shiny new can complete with pucker heavy duty clamp (not the usual puny hosepipe clip) arrived within a week.
A whole Kilo lighter and not restricted by the excessive baffling of the Laser, the difference was immediately apparent. The tone was deeper and richer without being anti-social despite being 12dB louder even with the baffles fitted.
In terms of power, can’t say for sure, but the bike feels lighter under throttle, getting through the revs quicker and now I’ve found the clutch can’t cope, slipping in 3rd & 4th! This was later examined and I found the plates were not worn or hardened, but the springs, though within OEM tolerance were not up to the job, so were replaced with stronger ones.
On my un-calibrated dB meter, but otherwise in accordance with ISO 1530 and at 5000 rpm
I measured averages of 72dB with the baffles in and 79dB with baffles out with peaks around 86dB and pleasing howl further up the rev band.
For better aesthetics I should have paid a bit extra and had the carbon version or blue titanium, but other than that and the fact I need to tickle with the carbs, your end can has brought a smile back to my face and given the old CB750 and this rider a new lease of life.
Thanks
Del

I was looking for a link pipe and end can for my new Yamaha Tenere700, didn't fancy paying £800 plus for the Akro
Contacted Martin at Max Torque and he was happy to make the exhaust to my spec, just a bit shorter and no heat guard.
Excellent quality, easy to fit, and looks and sounds fabulous.
Great service and all for around £300.
Recommend.

I called in to have a look at options for my BMW R1200RS to replace the original silencer. I came out shortly after with a Titanium round can fitted by Martin. It looks great on the bike, it's much lighter than the original, sounds great, gives more bhp and a great price.
I would recommend this company and their products to anyone.
