Avoid, this is simply a complete con of a business, do not order anything from them at all.

I made an order of 2 shirts and wish to return them within their refund policy terms and they simply fail to respond to any emails.

I have disputed a further order via my credit card company.

Do not buy anything from this retailer.

Appalling service, misleading size guide. Poor quality. Return expensive so you can’t. Avoid

I strongly advise against purchasing from Maxwell-Carter. I bought a coat that was advertised as "water and windproof," but what arrived was a poor-quality item that was not as described at all.
When I tried to return it, their customer service was dreadful. They insisted I pay for expensive international shipping and customs (DDP) to return the faulty item to China, which would have cost more than the item itself. They repeatedly ignored my rights and instead offered me tiny partial refunds of 10-30%.

Advice for other UK buyers:
Do NOT be bullied by this company. They are in breach of the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, which clearly states that if goods are faulty or not as described, the seller is responsible for the cost of returning the item.
They refused to provide a pre-paid label and left me no choice but to pursue a chargeback claim with my bank, which I'm glad to say was successful. Know your rights and do not let them make you pay to return their misdescribed products.

Terrible product, spent $80 on boots and threw them straight in the bin, absolute rubbish

Do not purchase anything from this company. I bought two shirts. The pictures on the website show the shirts without any logos. The shirts that were delivered each have a "Tom Harding" logo stitched on the front. I never heard of Tom Harding and never would have bought anything with a logo. Despite this, Maxwell Carter refuses to take back the shirts. TOTAL RIPOFF. BEWARE.

BEWARE! The shoes I received looked nothing like the picture on the website. I feel robbed. The quality is terrible and looks like I bought them at Dollar General for $15. I am trying to get in touch to return them and no one is responding to my emails.

Do not order from this place. I received shoes after waiting a month for delivery. They’re horrible cheap, crappy quality annd bad fit- and they were $60. Since the day I received them, I’ve been trying to get a return label but no one responds at all either by email or by phone. Just do not waste your time or money ordering from this company they’re !!!

I was getting ready to order a purse. Till I came to check out the reviews. Thank you all for the Honesty about this company. You saved me money and a lot of heartache. Had to give it at least 1 star to be able to leave this. AGAIN THANK YOU ALL FOR THE HONESTY IN THIS COMPANY

They refuse to honor their 14-day return policy. Do not shop here. If you find yourself in same boat, seek a chargeback with your credit card company. It’s illegal for them to misrepresent their policies.

I have tried to email them about a jersey I bought it's so not right in any shape or form I want a refund it's so not fair that these people just carry on selling shoddy clothes

Not only do they have the worst, non realistic, shoddily produced product, they also sell your information and you get targeted by spam nonstop. I’ve reported them to the police.

I too was taken in by this company's advertising on multiple platforms. Extremely shoddy merchandise, poor shipping practices, and they wanted to charge me to return an incorrect item they shipped. Have seen some of the same merchandise under other company names on Facebook- so beware. Was able to reverse charges through the credit card but required an extensive amount of documentation. Truly stressful and exhausting.

Like every other review here, I would give this company a zero if I could but since 1-star is as low as I can go, here it is...I ordered 2 "linen" shirts that I received and they are horrible. The tags even say 95% polyester and 5% rayon...Linen is no where to be found. I even went back and double checked the online description to see if it said "linen-look" and it did not. The feel of this fabric is nasty and like others, I would have returned the items but after checking with Fed Ex it was going to cost $197 to return them! I will start a bonfire with them because that's about all they are good for. Shame on this company!!!

I placed a rather large order making the mistake of NOT checking the reviews. As prior customers stated this is the poorest quality clothing I have ever seen. I’m not a seamstress and I could have done better making them myself!
I did attempt to return the whole but I found out at that time it would cost me “double” the order price to return to originator. Double!!
Now this clothing will go to as donation to the cancer survivors.

Still waiting for order , it’s been 3weeks and still has not been shipped !! My own fault ! I should have checked reviews before ordering!! Never again Maxwell Carter !!

I would give this company no stars if possible. The shoes I received were just junk. PayPal should be ashamed for representing this company. I’m sorry I didn’t just use a credit card as they would have gotten my money back. PayPal did nothing. Do not buy from this company.

Ordered 2 shirts Aug 9, delivered Aug 26. 100% not what I ordered. Online said the material was a linen cotton blend. It was 100% polyester. They are crap.

I would review it zero but impossible. DO NOT buy from this place. It took 4 weeks for my sandals to arrive i tried to connect to customer service but they just pretended not to understand i fid no longer wanted the purchase. Finally it arrived last nite, the sandals are really bad it is all plastic n horrible looking!!! This place sucks they are Chinese n pretend they are from Europe. They are getting rich lying to all of us.

Do not buy anything from this company! I bought three men's shirts because I saw them on IG, they arrived and I was very disappointed in the quality. I reached out to their office requesting a return. three days later they sent me information and said they required me to send via FedEx at my expense and then discovered that they're located in China. I got an estimate from FedEx and it was $140! the shirts cost me $130. I told the company I wouldn't do that and they have to refund my money, the shirts are unusable! they offered me 30% and I finally said yes. it's been a month and I still have not received a refund.

Stay away from this site. Had to wait over 4 weeks for items. They arrived, quality was shocking and sizing was nowhere near what was stated. Communication was nonexistent for returns. Avoid.
