Painting bushes at three different distances - excellent
I have the tutorial on painting bushes at three different distances and it is brilliant. Mayad's instruction is very clear and the equipment list is also very useful. I have watched the video from beginning to end and will now rewatch while trying to paint bushes myself. Being able to watch the video whenever I choose and as many times as I choose is really helpful - sometimes you just want to watch a short section to get a particular aspect of the painting right. Once I've practised my skills at painting bushes, I will then choose another video to purchase and try to improve my skills in another area. Thank you, Mayad

A very patient teacher who really cares about each single student. If you like his style I highly recommend his teachings. It's neither cheap nor overpriced but they're worth it. Even if English is not your native language it will be easy to follow his instructions and he is carefully explaining everything.

A beautiful introduction to urban sketching
I had very rudimentary drawing and painting skills when I started the introductory course for sketching and watercolor. I chose Mayad Allos because I like his style - a more precise drawing with a splash of color here and there but not too much. I really liked the skills and certain techniques I learned in this class. Perhaps one of the most important lessons I learned is how painted shadows can transform something flat into a 3D object. I also learned how to draw and paint different textures, such as glass, bricks and greenery. If you are curious about urban sketching, I encourage you to give this class a shot.

Excellent teacher
I have completed the intro courses to sketching and watercolor and just finished the hydrangeas. Mayad is an excellent teacher and provides clear instructions. As he advises I have repeated all of the paintings and improve each time. Definitely need practice, practice, practice. Can’t wait for new courses!

Mayad’s detailed watercolour tutorials are wonderful. It so easy to transfer these new skills into a current painting. Mayad uses a minimal colour palette which helps makes the piece cohesive. The tree tutorial is about 2 hours long but can easily be broken up into shorter sessions. I really like the fact that you get feedback on the art you have completed Really good value for money

I purchased a couple of lessons on Black Friday in order to save some money (especially with the South Africa exchange rate!!) but I haven't got to look at them yet. Watercolour commission
