25 year warranty is not worth the paper it is written on
we had a new kitchen installed in 2018 and our kitchen installation company employed marble building products to make and fit all the quartz work tops and glass splash backs.
most of the tops and splash backs were fitted well.
after two days I noticed a crack from the cut-out where the hob was to be yet installed.
Marble building products came back and installed a new top and the fitter explained that the tool used to cut out the area for the hob could have been the problem.
In may 2021 i noticed a crack in the same place as in the first top.
i sent marble building product an e-mail with a photo as requested and was told that the material supplier would visit me to have a look at the crack.
following that visit we were told that we had put a hot item on the top and the supplier was not at fault.
I explained to marble building products that it would not have been possible for that to happen as we would not have been able to reach and when we decided to have quartz top we were told never to put hot items on the quartz.
the so called 25 year warranty was worthless.
