Automatic renewals set up despite not being requested. Money taken without consent a whole month in advance of renewal date. After filling in an online form you are redirected to a phone number. It's a long wait on hold to speak to a call centre. Then you are subjected to a 10 min call while the operator insisted on offering better deals instead of processing a refund. I would advise not using in the first place. Never again Mcafee - Simon

Once it becomes a return for cancellation as item sold they fail to respond they dont answer phone or reply to letter

My old Dell computer was giving problems and still Windows7 so I bought a new (budget) Lenovo machine with Windows10 - every time I log on there appears a pop-up from McAfee advertising their protection - it stays there for about thirty seconds then disappears - I do NOT need additional security software (it comes with my BT package) and I find this intrusive advertising by McAfee MOST ANNOYING - typical pushy, rude American behaviour unfortunately - I suppose it must be in conjunction with Lenovo.

Auto renewal impossible to switch off. They take premium 30 days before expiry. If you want refund, all automated until you raise a request. Then they send you a service number & instructions to cal a US number -REALLY!!! This is irrespective if you go through U.K. site or via confirmation email.. Reaching a real person via U.K. site & telephone number requires the patience of Job; tried several times & phone cuts out after 1 hour. Despite their promise to refund within 60 days of charging I’m now pursuing via my credit card company. Will never use McAffee again. I’m not surprised Trump is frightened of Chinese competition, it doesn’t take long to realise how truly bad US companies & service really is.
