We are a modern family footwear business based in the heart of Mid Ulster, in Northern Ireland. The business was founded in 1884 by my great grandfather Stewart McConnell.
We are proud to continue a long tradition of providing outstanding customer service in our four shops which are located in Cookstown, Dungannon, Magherafelt and Omagh. We are delighted to be ecommerce award winners, achieving excellence in digital industry standards and providing an exceptional customer experience.
Our knowledgeable buying teams assess, try on and select shoes from hundreds of top brands to create a fantastic range of footwear. You can shop from our curated range, confident that we have handpicked styles with quality, comfort and value for money at the forefront.
We are also specialists in children’s footwear. Our skilled fitters are professionally trained by Clarks and are happy to answer your queries and provide expert advice on the best styles and width fittings for your child.
At the heart of our business ethos is a belief in providing great customer service and nurturing long standing customer relationships. Our aim is to build on our success by applying the same formula to our online store.

Great shop
I have ordered from here a few times and have always had fantastic experiences. The selection of shoes is great and they have good sales. Delivery is quick and comes as described. Would definitely recommend!

SERIOUSLY IMPRESSED!
So impressed with this company. I was searching for brand shoes at a cut price. I have purchased from a few companies doing this but never received the level of service I have from McConnells Shoes.
In the, well protected, original brand packaging was a return label completely hassle free return & recorded tracked for customer protection, for my protection.
I will definitely be buying again & will choose this company first above all others.
Shoes are a risk to purchase online due to all of us having unique fitting within same size. So no hassle free returns are a huge bonus. No label printing or fussing.
Delivery cost is very fare with options for more costly faster services e.g. Next Day before 11am
My shoes were half the usual cost & are perfect in condition.
