Dreadful!
My last review was a 5 star! This experience was dreadful! I ordered another 12 bag of stones (ordering as we go round the garden), and was advised by email they would arrive Wed or Thurs, so arrange for hubby to be here. Today (Tuesday) a large honk, advised the driver was here. Previously the bags have been placed in the garden, not this time! The driver did not say hello (or goodbye), advised he was busy and would drop the pallet on the pavement! I have never taken the pallet before and do not need one. The driver said I could request someone to come back, he was VERY BUSY! I said, it's the wrong day. Chris emailed Wed or Thurs! When the pallet was dropped the driver pushed the bags onto the pavement and I had to lift them up the driveway to the top of the garden. I was not even given time to get an apron to protect my clothes! Previous drivers have left with crisps, ice cream and biscuits. This one got into his cab and left without even saying goodbye. I am disgusted!
McNairs have called (correct number on the order!) I spoke to Connor and requested an email from Charlie. Charlie has left a VM, saying he would call back and email at the end of the week. Neither has happened yet.

We are very sorry and disappointed to read this review. Our transport manager has also tried to call you to apologise on the number you left on Tuesday as requested. We are currently investigating this matter and as transport use a text message service to update on delivery dates and times we have realised the mobile number you have given on your orders is incorrect so you unfortunately wont have received these updates so can appreciate you were inconvenienced to see delivery arrive unannounced a day early.
We take service very seriously and are glad you know this is not our usual style or level of service and we apologise again that we let you down on this occasion.

Very professional.
Ease of ordering, large sheets so had to be delivered. Delivery cost reasonable. Good communication also driver phoned with eta. Friendly and helpful delivery driver. Certainly would deal with them again.
