I feel aggrieved giving this company 1 star. There isn’t an option for 0 stars. This company is a vegan company ripping vegans off. They know they didn’t pack 3 meals and when I contacted them about it they apologised and said they would refund me, no such refund has taken place and it has been many weeks since their false promise! The meals had a next day after delivery best before date and food for the week had to be thrown away because it was out of date!
As other reviews state, tasteless, split packaging which could have happened in transit or the meals not being sealed properly.
I requested a refund for the meals they chose for me before they were even packaged and sent, but they said it was too late and it was my own fault they picked for me as I should have picked my meals from the email they sent me on Wednesday. An email that never arrived!
I made clear I would not accept delivery of the food I wouldn’t even eat. No doubt the food got thrown away……I wouldn’t give it to my dog, so the rubbish heap is the best place for this disgusting and expensive rubbish!
It’s so sad that vegans think they can rip vegans off, they deserve to close because I will never support this abysmal company ever again. They still owe me £22.50 for meals they knew they never sent!

Food is absolutely delicious, every week I am blown away by the new meals. I’ve only ever had one issue with delivery and that was the couriers fault (parcel went missing, it happens) - I contacted by email and a new order was sent out to me that morning and arrived the following day. Really can’t fault the food, the service or the delivery it’s been brilliant. If you’re vegan, you’ve just got to try this food!

Delicious food, delivered badly
I've been a subscriber for a few months now.
Pros:
- Food is delicious
- Nice variety for vegetarians which other meal prep companies lack.
Cons:
- the seal on the meals is often not stuck on properly causing some of the meals to leak. This can be made worse when the delivery service stores the box the wrong way up, causing a huge mess. This has happened quite a few times.
- customer service is slow to respond, and often offers to replace the spilled meals, but then doesn't follow through - I still get charged in full for the next week's delivery
- there was a bug in the website recently where a meal selection from a previous week carried forward into the current week, but there was no option to unselect it. So I got charged for 4 spag bol that I never received. I sent them the screenshot saying I thought there was a bug (understandable, it can happen to anyone) so can I please be refunded for the 4 spag bol. They left me on read. An honest mistake is fine, but you can't charge me for meals that I didn't receive and then ignore my message about it?
Overall:
I love the food and I want to support small businesses. But if the leaking deliveries and flakey customer service continues, I might have to finally cancel, which would be a real shame. Plz sort these teething issues out!
Tasteless and opened meals
Ordered for the first time and had the worst experience and response fromthe company. The meals came open. When I contacted the company they said on the next order we will throw in some freebies and if it happens again we will consider looking into further, rather than trying to resolve the situation. The meals were tasteless and had large quantities of rice in every meal. They should be calling them selves “Tasteless” instead of meatless.
Avoid this company it doesn’t compare or come close to any of the other companies offering the same product/service.

Fabulous food and really good customer service. Did find the website a bit unclear (maybe just me) so I emailed to ask a few questions. Got a response straight away and then when food had arrived the director sent me another email asking how I was finding meals and service which I thought was a lovely touch. Meals were really really nice can’t fault them. Would reccomend
Avoid buying from this company
Avoid buying from this company. My meals all arrived perished due to pretty much all of the plastic seals leaking and spilling onto the paper dishes. When contacted they offered to replace the meals, but I was not prepared for the same to happen again, so asked for a refund. Radio silence...no response after that despite several follow ups. Terrible, selective customer service. It's clear from these reviews this has happened before too, yet they have not changed their shipping method.

Love the meals and the service! The meals are really good and the variety is exceptional. Not seen another company with this many different meals to be had previously. I did have one issue where one of my meals arrived with the seal broken in the corner. This was rectified quickly and replaced with my next delivery. I get two deliveries a week which is perfect for me. Would highly recommend. Great small business, excellent customer service and top notch food. I’m sure I will be a customer for a long time.

I’ve been using Meatless for several weeks now and it fits my lifestyle perfectly. Everything arrives fresh, portioned for consistency, and without the usual ultra-processed shortcuts.

Looking through these reviews all the issues seem to have been with delivery or responsiveness and I have to say that’s not been my experience at all! I reached out to the company just asking for some more info and they got back to me straight away. Customer service was great, can tell you’re speaking to a real human. Anyway I placed my first order last week and I AM SHOOK. This is actually the best vegan food I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the Beef Bourginon, Cajun tacos, macaroni cheese and a Mexican bean bowl. All of them were actually amazing. It’s now Friday and I’ve eaten them all so I will be making a much bigger order next week. Already the menu for next week is different and I can’t wait to try. The only thing is… they change their menu every week, but I really want the bourginon and macaroni cheese again! How long will I have to wait? And when they are on the menu again I will have to order so many. I think I am just wowed - can’t wait for my next order. Oh and also website is really easy to navigate and choose your meals!

The food is absolutely delicious. Delivered on time fresh and cool. I feel like I'm eating restaurant quality in my own home. No fuss, no working out calories or nutritional values, its all done for you. A special find, Ill be ordering weekly, thanks meatless team, a triumph.

Honestly so surprised by some of these reviews. This is by far the best meal prep company I’ve tried. The food is fresh, arrives freezing cold, packaging is high quality. The menu changes every week so after 4 weeks I have yet to eat the same meal twice (which is also a con because they’re so good I want them again). Customer service spot on, I messaged them on IG and WhatsApp to give praise about the food and got a response within minutes. Best meals I’ve had so far - Nduja Lasagne, Beef Bourginon with cauliflower cheese, Dirty Rice and Teriyaki Chicken. But to be honest all have been a 9 or 10 out of 10

Meals are good. Generally no issues with deliveries or quality. Customer service is a bit iffy though and sometimes takes multiple emails to get a response.
AVOID
AVOID. They did not contact me when my order was delivered, causing the meals to be left for hours at the concierge.
I didn’t enjoy the meals & asked to cancel my subscription, which they confirmed, but they still charged me anyway and delivered meals without my knowledge. I didn’t expect meals to be delivered and again did not receive any notification (even after asking repeatedly) & meals were again left with the concierge for days and went straight in the bin.
They refuse to refund the wrongly delivered meals. £72.99 I am owed. They take advantage of customers. Do not recommend.
£82 in the bin, and no response from the company.
I was super excited for some prepped vegan meals and made an order for a split delivery, costing £82. The first delivery was sent out due to be delivered on a day which was 30'c. Despite the packaging and delivery instructions stating not to be returned to depot, it was. I spoke to the customer services at Meatless who informed me that the packaging will keep the meals fresh for 48hrs from leaving them, and guaranteed the delivery the next day. The next day it still was not delivered. My next package was due and that too was not delivered. 5 days after the original delivery date, I received a box of bashed up, open containers of food that had to go in the bin. Charlotte from Meatless apologised profusely and halted the second delivery, explaining they will resend the box fresh, with extra meals and a refund as an apology. I understand that delivery issues aren't their fault, and gave plenty of space for this start-up to rectify the issue.
That was June 27th. Last email July 2nd.
I've emailed weekly, then monthly both direct and to the main address, used their web chat and tried to call... But the website has removed their telephone number!
4 months has gone by and I haven't heard a single response, nor my deliveries, or a refund.
£82 literally in the bin.
