AVOID AVOID. *EXPENSIVE, AND TAKE ADVANTAGE*

Booked in for a service, asked if they remove roof rack and seal the holes and quote for replacing 1 broken wing mirror.
The service was 200 as advertised.

They Charged me 390 in the end.
First he said 4 .... in shock as i thought it was a mistake i said " sorry how much!??" and he said 390.
( maybe he added a 10er on tip??) When i asked why it was so much he said it was 2 hours labour for removing the roof rack and an hour labour for "finding parts" to quote for changing the mirror. When i asked about it, the guy was very short with me and didnt want to explain anything to me.
Presumably becuae he knew i was being stitched up.

( also to seal the holes they just filled them up with black silicone (on a white car)

Also the quote, they wanted to Charge another 200 for the wing mirror. (Not including labour)
I googled and found parts online in less then 5 minutes. (100 euro brand new for the full mirror and housing ) not sure what labour was involved in that.
I should have checked reviews before booking in.
Advise is to get a price confirmed before any work is done or go somewhere else as they will take advantage.

2012 skoda wouldn't start aa brought it home after trying my own Mechanic who was closing for two weeks for holidays and a few other places I got my car brought here as a last resort
Tried ringing a few different numbers on the website site to no avail eventually got some fella

WRONG FUEL IN YOUR CAR going to drain it put a new filter in it see what happens !! Then got email for €300 so rang a local parts store diesel filter €12 They said they put 50 Diesel in it more like a tener if that 238 would not recommend 24 hour mechanic to anyone few marks on car that wasn't there b4 and oil marks on the interior

AVOID … AVOID … to all taxi drivers Avoid with any cost …. This must be the worst company i had to deal with … rented a taxi from them … they have the worst fleet ever .. cars ar dirty and nothing functional on them .. you will get bad reviews on UBER and all the rest of apps . Trying to recover my 320€ deposit from them .. its like going to the dentist … they will never give you any lease agreement .. i will probably have to go and seek some legal advise to recover my deposit … the staff on the garage must be on drugs or something .. they behave like you own them your life … Do not make any bussines with this company.

Worst decision of my life to decided to take it to mechanic 24 to get the branding done for taxi.
next day went to pick it up. Paid €750 for the job.
As i was about to leave handbreak message starts coming up as i go over 5km speed. I take the handbreak off every time i start driving.
I went back to them they were closing as it was 7pm. They told me to come back tomorrow.
I went next day one of the guy took my car in came back saying tht i can't find the fault i plugged the device in. I explained to him tht my car was fine before i gave in he turned around nd said said to me normally we charge €60 for just to diagnose the fault but i said to company tht he is my friend bla bla bla nd not taking the responsibility for the damage.

Before i gave car to mechanic 24 it was working fine nothing was wrong with it.
Few of my friends warned me not to go to them but i ignored them now I'm driving to one mechanic to another to find the problem nk luck so far
First of all they are rude second they damage ur car nd not take responsibility.
Don't go to them friend. Don't even deserve one start

Avoid at all costs I waited 9 hours in waiting area to get metre,printer and door sticks done ,next morning I went out and engine red light was on engine pressure light ,seatbelt had been changed to a well warn one, as I had a nct 2 days prior with no issues.if it was the last place on the planet I would not bring anything to get repaired. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

My initial impression was very positive but their complete lack of follow-up and not replying to emails has left me utterly frustrated.

When I rang and described the problem they said it would be no problem to fix and programmed Tyre pressure senor. They rang to tell me when it was done but the pressure sensor light came back on when I drove the next day, basically they turned of the light, put in an incompatible sensor and sent me on my way. Also my car had a smell of cigarette smoke in the cabin for a day after. They somehow advertise themselves as Renault specialists on the web buy are far from it. Complete cowboys.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Disgusting customer service and shoddy workmanship for premium prices! My car was left in on a Friday 11am for a new radiator which would be most likely done by Saturday. Rang Saturday and told part hadn't come in. Same story on Monday, Tuesday was informed wrong radiator had been delivered. Thursday I called and was told they had decided to take my damaged radiator for repair elsewhere and it would be back after 24hrs. When I asked when I could expect the car because it was taking much longer than expected I was met with extreme verbal abuse from the lad in the garage! He was shouting I could come and take my car back if I wasn't happy. He was completely rude and aggressive and another worker took the phone from him and took over the conversation in a much nicer manner. This was after a week of me waiting for the car and being very patient with no feedback unless I called. These guys did not call or message me once to update me - I wasn't asked if I wanted the radiator repaired or to wait what would have been the same time frame for the correct new one to be delivered. I finally received my car back on the Monday evening 10 days after dropping it in. I don't know of any garage who would get away with treating customers as they do and I'm even more disgusted that five weeks later the repaired radiator began to leak profusely. I had ten days lost earnings as aTaxi and the e400 price of the glued radiator on top of paying for a new radiator and another day off the road to get it fixed properly. I wouldn't let them touch any car of mine ever again. On a good note I went to a different garage and got a new radiator fitted in one day! I do not recommend Mechanic.24 on any level and the place should actually be investigated. They are a disgrace!

I wish I can write this review without a star.
I wanted to replace window regulator for my car, the guy quoted me €400 initially and I accepted , when they delivered the car I was told €500 and asked why there is an increase in price they informed me the quote was by error earlier.
The window glasses were shaking and rattling draught coming electronic switch not working. As the car was delivered I mailed them straight way and informed them the dissatisfaction of the service and will return back to get it fixed.
When I went there with an appointment , the guy was totally reluctant and dismissive about the fault I stated and surprisingly I was not the only one to have a job to redone there were many people in the same situation.
They are unprofessional, zero customer service. They threaten the customers by using foul language and presenting themselves as strong
Shame on you people.
Because of these amateur guys there are lots people suffered with the car.

In short.:
If you want destroy your car and wanted it to be broken you can visit these guys . In this era there is social media where we can have DIY videos and fix it by self. But these guys are totally amateur , can't even fix a simple problem after even watching a video .shame on them . Took all my hard earned money.

Car failed NCT on tyres 5 days after pre-NCT check. No mention of tyres having been checked on the pre-NCT report I received from the mechanic. The person I spoke to was extremely rude and unapologetic when I brought this to his attention, and he advised that I should "just leave a negative review online".

I wouldn't even give them 1 star. this place is racist, incompetent and full of cow boys. these lot really treat taxi drivers with insults and make them wait for hours Especially if the drivers are coloured. avoid lads rent your taxis somewhere else.

Ok, First up, IT actually hurts to give one star as it's a must to leave a review,
I had a engine go bad on my Land Rover Discovery Sport at the start of December of last year, after a little research we found a garage in Finglas that stated that were Land Rover "Specialists". So we got the car brought there on a tow truck in good faith, from the offset, the staff, excluding none were rude and abrupt. zero contact from these people, i had to ring every day to find out what the plan of attack was on the car, every time i rang i got a rude employee on the phone who knew nothing about the car, the first time i talked to someone who knew what was going on, i was told it was €8000 for a full engine replacement, and the promise of it being back to us before Christmas, We needed the car so we gave them the go ahead, this is when it just started to get messy, no contact again from the garage, i had to keep calling to the point where i felt like i was bothering them, So, no real service on the phone for starters, after a month into the new year, still no word, then they "source" an engine, the bill then went up to €11000, so, another €3000 on top of the original quote, they had our car and we needed it back, so we gave them the go ahead once again, and this took months of back and forward, actually having to take time off work to call out in person to talk to them, as per usual the person who was dealing with me was not there, so a complete waste of my time, i had seen the car with the engine out, i have pictures of it, which i have sent to Land Rover and the way it was done was not in the way that Land Rover specify in their service manual on how to remove the engine, this was just getting worse, In the end i rang and was told "ohhh yeah your car is ready, been ready for a week", this is maybe something that could've been told over the phone instead of me chasing them up all the time, i call out to collect the car, 11k bank draft in my pocket, the machanic Joe says the steering is not great on this car, i drove it and was shocked, it was pulling me all over the road, it was undrivable, i just said this needs to be sorted before i take it away, another month waiting on Mechanic24 to get it into Joe Duffys for diagnostics, the result came back that the steering rack was broken, so Mechaninc24 wanted another €5000 to repair this, i had enough at this point. No Way was i paying these gangsters any more money, there was not a thing wrong with the steering in this car pre delivery to this excuse for a garage, Land Rover told me it was a re-assembly issue and something was damaged during the process. So these guy damaged my car during the engine replacement and wanted me to fork out another 5k for their bad workmanship, i called out a week later to inspect the car and pick it up as i was going to bring it to Land Rover to get them to do the job and just suck up the extra costs, no way i'd let Mechanic 24 near any other part of the car, i wouldn't let them put air in my tyres, When i landed to look at my car i was told by the owners brother Gary, that when they get the money i'll see my car, they had my car in a lock up somewhere, he wouldn't tell me where, i had to ring Finglas Garda station and they told me that it was theft, then Gary the lovely person just stopped talking, i have taped his ignorance on video and this will be uploaded to youtube tonight to show the treatment you get from this garage, In a need to get sorted i rang Land Rover to see if they would take the car as a trade in, this was the Land Rover dealer that Mechanic24 brought my car to, They told me straight on the phone, that in no way could they take the car after they seen the way the work was done on it....
They still have my car in some lock up,
over 5 months later..................
So, What i would say here is, DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS GARAGE,
BRING IT TO A PROPER GARAGE,
PLEASE READ THEIR REVIEWS ON FACEBOOK AND ONLINE BEFORE USING THEM,

Don't waste your time or money - They are time wasters and I got ripped-off - This business looks normal but is far from it. They do not take responsibility for there mistakes. They mislead you and then get upset when the professionals prove them wrong. They have a school boy/playground mentality and in the end you will be charged for there incompetence. Which means you will have to pay someone else to get it done correctly.

Its a long story but its essentially
1 They did a job (around my cars ERG Valves).
2 A year later they did a 2nd job - the second job was a prolonged by there inabilities (skill and ability to communicate).
4 Which, after bringing it to a professional garage, the state of the first job was proven to be not done at all.
After me requesting a refund for the work that is not done (the firs job) the management have said "there is nothing we can do"

So don't get ripped-off by this "pretend to be professional businesses"
