This was our first time needing to hire a medical bed, mattress and riser recliner chair and we were delighted with our experience with Medbedhire. The whole process was pleasant and efficient. The company was easy to contact and everything was explained clearly for us. The person who handled our enquiry (and subsequent follow-up requests) was very polite and patient. For us, trying to assist a family member with complex care needs, it was reassuring to have our needs met with courtesy, care and efficiency. Everything was done as promised.

A very good quality bed and mattress for a very good rental price.
The team were very easy to communicate with.
They did everything they said they would.
You pay for the delivery and collection upfront.
Both my father and his carers were very happy with the bed, it made the carers job a lot easier.

Superb service. From David's quick and efficient delivery and pickup arrangements and Oscar and Ennis fantastic setting up and removal of med bed for my wife. Both my wife and I are very pleased with outstanding service and have no hesitation in recommending Medbedhire for anyone who needs a medical bed in an emergency.

Medbeds service has been exemplary- from the first phone call, through to the delivery and installation and then arranging for collection- at a difficult time medbed have been one of the good guys

My 90-year-old husband fell and broke his femur. On discharge from hospital he was advised to sleep downstairs. As we were reluctant to purchase a single bed for which we would have no use afterwards, I did a search for 'hospital beds' on the internet.
Medbedhire came up and I was able to look at the various beds to hire. I chose the MB2 as it was similar to the one my husband had in hospital and he would be able to raise his head/legs etc to get into a comfortable position.
I appreciated the helpful and professional way David dealt with my enquiry at what was a very stressful time. He suggested a suitable mattress and arranged delivery for a few days later.
The evening before delivery I realised an upright chair with arms would also be useful. Another message was left and very soon I was advised the chair would be added to the delivery.
As an aside, most times I had to leave a message but be reassured someone always gets back to you,
The young man and woman (I wish I had asked their names) who delivered and collected the bed were magic. Letting me know in advance their ETA. They worked so quickly putting the bed up (and dismantling it on collection). I was shown the controls and advised on keeping one side up - useful for my husband as he was able to use it to lever himself into a comfortable position.
As you may gather, I have nothing but praise for this company. I thoroughly recommend them.

So impressed with this company. Ordered at 11 am after a very helpful and comprehensive discussion with someone over the phone about our needs, and the bed was delivered and set up by 8 pm that evening by 2 professional, friendly and efficient team members. All the paperwork and administrative side of things was simple, straightforward and transparent. Price was very reasonable given the urgent need of the bed, the quality of the product and the service we received. Also collection was easy and efficient when we no longer needed the bed. Can’t recommend them enough.

My dad hurt his back and we needed a bed urgently
They got back to me very quickly, arranged same day delivery, were helpful and friendly and advised me to get the simplest/cheapest option rather than a hard sell. Costs were clearly explained and were competitive. Would definitely recommend/use again

We needed a hospital bed in a hurry and Med Bed Hire were able to deliver within 48 hours. The service was excellent with considerate delivery, assembly and instruction on how to use the bed. I would recommend the team if you are in need of good service, advice and high quality beds.

From first enquiry to delivery of the bed contact with all staff was exceptional. Sound advice given on what bed was best for my mother to spend her last days in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family. I
feel certain my mother would have passed in hospital without the efficient service of this company.

My husband had fallen and was taken to hospital for hip surgery. I knew he wouldn’t be able to use the stairs for some time so researched and found Med Bed. From the initial call with David I knew I was dealing with a reputable company. He was very professional and organised for the bed to be delivered on 1/2/25. The couple who delivered it were excellent, positioning the bed in an accessible space in our lounge and explaining to me all the different controls. Once my husband returned I knew he would be comfortable which he was. In fact I think I’ll have difficulty getting him back to his own bed! He has now mastered the stairs and the bed will be going back. I gave the required notice and received an email by return confirming the hire charge has been cancelled and the bed will be collected w/c 3/3/25. I would highly recommend Med Bed for their professionalism. Thanks to all concerned.

When the hospital told me I could go home if I had a single bed, we rang the company on the Monday, they delivered the bed & mattress on Tuesday, I went home on Wednsday to complete my recovery. Without this company I would have spent 12 weeks in hospital. First class service.

I would highly recommend medbedhire. I found them really easy to deal with and they provide products at a competitive price. From the beginning, Dawid responded well to all my questions. He provided a quality hospital type bed with a choice of mattresses. I had a bed and air mattress delivered on a Saturday within 3 days of asking.
As my family member improved I was able to easily change the type of mattress within 2 days of asking. Delivery/collection times are communicated well and you are advised a two hour window when the equipment will be delivered/collected which was so helpful.
The team who installed the bed were friendly and efficient.
I would use the company again.

I was in hospital in Bolton lying on my back after rupturing both quad tendons. I realised I need hospital equipment at home so on a Sunday night found and contacted the team
David too my email and call and the service provided was 100 per cent and in my hour of need David and the team delivered and I am very very grateful

On discharge from the hospital following a prolonged period, I was advised to live on the lower floor of my home for safety reasons.
I made contact with MedBedHire, and explained my conditions, the advice from the hospital, they then advised me on the most suitable and appropriate bed that would be suitable, and we then agreed the terms of the rental. And to my surprise I was then informed that the bed/mattress would be delivered and erected in the next 2 hours. And which it was, and everything was done to my needs and specifications in a professional and empathetic manner. And I can only highly recommend this company and its staff for making a stressful time much more comfortable. 10/10
