Too traumatic to talk about my experience at Mediamarkt pure evil.
1) Dishwasher: I purchased a dishwasher based on a recommendation from one of your sales representatives. Despite clearly specifying the dimensions and warning them when purchasing, I was misled into believing it would fit if the feet were adjusted. The machine was delivered, but installation was impossible; the door was stuck to the floor and wouldn't open after installation. The staff sold me the wrong size. After numerous visits to the store, the product was finally replaced and a new one installed. This process took over a month.
Today, the machine is leaking electricity. However, I cannot request warranty or technical support because the product invoice doesn't appear in my MediaMarkt account. I only have access to an old invoice, which is not considered sufficient.
2) Range Hood: I haven't been able to use the range hood I purchased, again based on a recommendation from an employee, for a year. I've been to the store at least seven times to obtain a filter; each time I've been told it's out of stock. I've searched all brands and online channels, but the product is unavailable.
Last week, a manager named Carol at your Arena store recommended buying one from Gamma. Despite stating that I couldn't find it anywhere, they showed me sites that were out of stock again, and finally said they found it on one site, gave me the link, and I ordered the exact product they described. The product I ordered was incorrect, and I paid €55. (This is the second time I've been misfiltered.)
Today I came to your MediaMarkt Arena store again. Unfortunately, the level of service I encountered was extremely disappointing. I had to explain the same situation at least 10 times. Sales assistants and the store manager directed me to customer relations.
Customer relations then directed me back to the store. The team in the customer relations office stated that they only manage delivery processes, cannot process product returns, couldn't find my invoice, and could only see that an exchange request had been opened. They said that information about the return process was on the website. They said I couldn't return a product that was more than 30 days old. Finally, they directed me back to online customer service.
When I requested this statement in writing, a manager named Peyman (who was quite polite) again pointed me to the explanations on the website.
Being directed to online, website, and in-store solutions for my problems by a customer relations office was unbelievable.
In the end, I couldn't find a single team member who genuinely cared about the customer experience and their problem.
Manager, sales assistants, customer relations team, or leader...
If you think I should resolve this online, please let me know; I'm very willing to call :)
If you can direct me to someone who can handle this, my request is extremely clear and simple:
I request that the range hood, which I haven't been able to use for a year, be replaced with a better model with a replaceable filter.
I also request that the dishwasher's invoice be found and the electrical leakage problem be resolved urgently.
I bought a curved samsung monitor online from MM. First day the side of the display was dim. I took to the nearest store (Sindelfingen, Stuttgart) and asked them to replace. They said they have to check. Asked to wait for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks i came, they repaired the same monitor using my warranty. Frustrated, i left with the monitor. I opened and found they kept a 144Hz display but I bought a 165Hz. They did it on purpose. Media markt is a scam den. Never go there!!!! I even feel like it happened because I am not a german native.
