Mixed experience

My experience of meditation service was quite mixed. I didnt really feel they were listening to what I was saying, had to repeat myself and communication could of been better as their were several misunderstanding but we got there in the end.

We always appreciate feedback both positive and negative from our clients but unfortunately from your review I am unsure as to the particular concerns that you had with our service.

You will appreciate I cannot go in to any details of your case here due to confidentiality, but looking through your case I can see that mediation unfortunately did not proceed despite efforts from the mediator with both you and the other client to arrange a session.

This can happen sometimes and unfortunately we are not in control of the decisions made by either party as to whether or not they wish to proceed with mediation.

I had no communication with you I had…

I had no communication with you I had to keep calling for updates as nothing was going on. 6 weeks later you send me my certificate after I had to call you again and basically ask for it. Would not use or recommend you.

However, having a look at your case, we do accept that it took longer than normal to complete the process following your initial one-to-one meeting with the mediator to providing you with a mediation certificate for which we are sorry.

Felt this mediation was not by any…

Felt this mediation was not by any means impartial. The mediator had constructed opinions ons such things like pre nuptial agreements and had a pre formed opinion on these I advised to be willing to engage in further mediation to elivaiute the process and less costly legal fees but she completely did not take this into account, I will be filing a complaint against this as given i paid for the service i should have received an impartial mhdatioro not what i just experienced.

Impartiality is a core principle of mediation and all of our accredited family mediators are trained to not make judgements or take sides. Legal, financial or any other information they provide is given in a neutral way with the intention of helping clients make decisions for themselves or where appropriate the mediator will suggest that legal advice is obtained from a regulated provider.

As you have set out in your review you have made a formal complaint to us. We have received this and so we will deal with this matter through our internal processes to resolve the complaint in a satisfactory way for you.
