Brilliant company! Medic Mentor got 2 of my children through the med school application process. Brilliant customer service and employees who genuinely care about the students. My children couldn’t have done it without them. Would recommend to everyone.

I was a part of Medic Mentor from about halfway through year 12 during my UCAS application, and the invaluable 18 months I spent with them were crucial to me achieving my aim of getting into medical school at the University of Bristol. I am so grateful to everything I have gained from them.

I took part in the Medical Leadership Programme, the Virtual Medical Society and the Summer School. As well as receiving engaging and insightful teaching on many aspects of my application, such as the interview process, wider reading topics, and the UCAT examination, I developed transferable skills that I feel shaped my success. I was given the opportunity as a college student to give national presentations, publish my own work, create an academic poster and teach my peers what I had learned. These helped me to obtain three UK med school offers.

As well as this, being able to interact with a network of like-minded students built my self-confidence and helped me to make lifelong friends that I am still in contact with now. I would highly recommend medic mentor to any hopeful medical, veterinary or dental applicant.

Paid and signed my child up to the summer school 2 years ago for this coming summer. My child has changed her mind and we cancelled within the time frame.
However after several emails through their admin system and a phone message we still haven’t received our refund.
They always email back with something but no money returned.
I feel I have no other option than to take legal advice.

Honesty and trustworthiness are the cornerstones of every medical profession: NOT THE CASE AT MEDIC MENTOR!!
I booked a place for my son at a Medic Mentor (only a handful of places left!!), then cancelled within their 14 day cooling off period which guaranteed a full refund. This was 36 days ago and I am yet to receive any contact from the accounts department or from senior management regarding my formal complaint. I have contacted the admin team at regular intervals and been fobbed off on every occasion.
Very poor, unprofessional behaviour which has caused a great deal of stress to both my son and me.

I attended Medic Mentor summer school back in 2019 and it was invaluable to my medical school application. I got a lot of support throughout all aspects of the application process, which lasted way past the single week I spent on summer school.
Having received conflicting advice about medical school applications from my parents, school, teachers, and peers, it was so helpful to talk to both the doctors and scholars at medic mentor to clear up my confusion.
I would really recommend other prospective medical applicants to look into the programs offered by medic mentor to get a really accurate insight into the application process and medicine as a career.

Medicmentor offers some excellent experiences for aspring medical, dental and veterinary students, but (on the basis of my son's experience with it) it doesn't have sufficient organisational support in place to be fully professional.

Enrolled on summer school but needed to cancel 4 months before attending
Advised of possible refund and to contact in September
7 admin forms filled in over the last 3 months with no reply
At this point I am starting to wonder if this actually exists
Be very careful before applying
