I wished I'd read the reviews prior to joining!

I wished I'd read the reviews prior to parting with any money! I'm currently in dispute with them for helping themselves to 3 months membership despite the fact that I only wanted 1month to try it. They've steadfastly ignored any requests to refund the additional (and probably illegal) amount they took. So I'll see if my bank can scare the bejesus out of them - but I'm not holding my breath. The site itself is insane, I thought I'd signed up to Meet Berks singles, not Scottish, Irish and Northumberland singles where all the so called "likes" are coming from. I mean, who in their right mind would choose to meet someone 250 miles away for a coffee meet? Sure, pack an overnight bag and do a one night stopover in a hotel. That makes for an expensive coffee date! Some of the women look like they've been hired from the cemetery to pose. I remember bunking off college once to see The Gorgon. She was so horrendously ugly that she turned anyone who looked at her to stone. But...! she was certainly more attractive than some of the pics I've received. And so it goes on. I have seen pics of potential matches that have included a date signature on the photo - from 5,6,7 years ago! You think the site would have the brains to delete those as they're obviousy long gone from the site! When someone leaves (usually asap!) They do not take the profile down and leave it as "live" so most of the time you're messaging a ghost that will never even log on to the site again, let alone read what you've written. The whole thing is just scam rubbish. I'll ask them to take all of my details down and shred them - which is exactly what should happen to this fraudulent rubbish.

The stuff of nightmares

To add to what's already been said in the other reviews: absolutely low end gene pool men - men who are so unattractive, they are the stuff of nightmares. The other Cheshire Singles sites are somehow related as they are identical in set up and have the same hideous men. AVOID

Joined on the 18 Oct 2022 on a 3 month membership and after 6 days had, in the main, scam contacts from ladies half my age, living in the London area and not in Cheshire.
Whilst email confirms my membership as been cancelled i am directed to fill in a refund application after agreeing to new terms and conditions.
Emailing over the following 6 days as provided no additional indication as to the next steps in the grievance procedure or acknowledgement of the legal rights to a full refund, only a refund may be considered. Not sure how long i should give before starting a small claims application. They must be making a fortune as most people may just accept.

I managed to phone customer service and was informed i had to accepts the terms and conditions to complete a refund application. A couple of days later they said under there terms and conditions they could offer a partial refund and add a further 3 weeks of membership. I replied to say i was not happy with this offer.
15 Nov. Started the application for filing a Small Claims Application but due to it being an address in Ireland it would not accept, so i filed a SCA in ROI but was rejected as they only accept ROI claims and i am in the UK. Now what?

Fraudulent and horrendous

Sends you fake messages from people's profiles that it won't let you read until you join. Unless you sign up for a year it's 25 pounds a month. Once I joined because I didn't know the messages were fake then these people never replied back even though they had supposedly invited the conversation. I later found in the small print that this is what they do. 99 percent of the people are not from Cheshire but from Scotland or down South. I feel utterly tricked and ripped off and would like a refund.
