I wanted to love MeetGeek but it doesn't work for our company

We had a frustrating experience with MeetGeek.

When setting up users, we accidentally ended up with six business subscriptions when we only needed four. There was no way to reduce the number, and we were forced to pay for the full month due to what appears to be a UI limitation.

We also have a user who cannot log in after moving from a free plan to a business-hosted paid plan. A support ticket was submitted, but we’ve received no response.

On top of that, the $15/month add-on for branded emails feels overpriced. While the base cost might be reasonable, the platform is difficult to standardise across a team, which creates operational friction.

Overall, the biggest issue is poor customer service and lack of support when things go wrong.

Great summaries and useful integrations

I’ve been using MeetGeek for about three months now, and honestly, it’s been a lifesaver. What I love most is how the bot cuts through all the fluff-the summaries focus strictly on the important stuff, skipping all small talk. It’s also super convenient how it identifies action items and clearly assigns who’s doing what.
The Notion integration is a huge win to me: having every meeting automatically pop up as a new page in my workspace saves so much manual work.
If they add weekly summaries across all meetings, this tool won't just be perfect-it'll be a 6/5 stars.

Saves 30 minutes per meeting

We've been using MeetGeek for several years. The tool joins video calls and transcribes the conversation.
Before using MeetGeek, I'd have to make notes then spend 30 to 60 minutes writing up the meeting minutes. MeetGeek provides a summary of the discussion and any decisions the client made in an email. I can then check this summary and download the transcription as a Word file to create the meeting minutes. I'm really happy we use this software.

MeetGeek is great

I've tried a few meeting tools over the years, but MeetGeek is honestly the one I keep coming back to. I use it for work meetings and some personal calls too, and what I really appreciate is that it connects to my calendar through both my work email and Gmail, so it's super convenient when meetings are scattered across both.
They have both an app and a webpage, which is useful depending on where I am or what I'm doing.
And okay, the AI chat feature...I didn't think I'd use it as much as I do, but it's become such a lifesaver! Whether I need to pull out action items or find that one thing someone mentioned three meetings ago, it actually delivers important info.
Really excited to see where MeetGeek goes from here and whatever they build next!

Fantastic Meeting Assistant tool

I am using MeetGeek for years for my meetings like a VA! As a Web Development company, the virtual meetings we have with our clients are important as we share details about the projects from both end. And MeetGeek always comes handy with its meeting notes and transcription in this case. Where we can share a copy of the KeyPoints with our clients about the meeting and use that too for focusing on the key discussion.

MeetGeek for peace of mind

MeetGeek has completely changed the way I experience meetings**

I genuinely *love* MeetGeek. It has turned meetings from something I had to mentally juggle into something I can actually enjoy and be fully present in.

As a virtual assistant, I’m in meetings with clients every single week — sometimes multiple per day. Before MeetGeek, there was always that low-level stress of trying to remember *what I should remember*: action items, decisions, follow-ups, and key details. Now? That friction is completely gone.

MeetGeek quietly does its job in the background, capturing clear notes, summaries, and action points so I don’t have to. I can focus on the conversation, listen properly, and engage — knowing everything important is being taken care of. That alone is priceless.

The summaries are accurate, easy to review, and incredibly helpful when I need to follow up with clients or revisit decisions later. It saves me time, reduces mental load, and honestly makes meetings feel lighter and more productive.

I use MeetGeek every week, and I honestly wouldn’t want to work without it now. If you have regular meetings and want clarity without the stress of note-taking, this tool is a game-changer.

Highly recommended. 👏

Reliable meeting summaries that actually save time

What made my experience great is how consistently MeetGeek captures the key points of meetings without me having to take notes myself. The summaries are clear, structured, and easy to scan, which makes follow-ups much faster especially when juggling multiple meetings in a day.

What the company does well is automation without friction. Setup is simple, the bot joins meetings reliably, and the action items and highlights are usually accurate enough to trust. I also appreciate that the transcripts and summaries are organized in a way that’s easy to revisit later, which helps with accountability and documentation.

It’s not trying to do too much at once it focuses on meeting capture and does that job well. Overall, it’s been a practical tool for staying organized and reducing manual note-taking.

Solid tool with genuinely helpful support

I've been using MeetGeek for a while now and it's become part of my regular workflow. The transcription and meeting summaries are accurate and save me a ton of time. No more scrambling to take notes during calls.
What really stood out to me was their customer support. When I ran into an issue, the team was quick to respond and actually followed up until it was resolved. I even suggested a couple of improvements and they genuinely listened. That kind of responsiveness is rare these days.
It just works. No weird glitches, no complicated setup. If you're looking for a meeting assistant that does what it promises without the hassle, MeetGeek delivers.

Captions, AI Note taking and more... WOW!

I have been using MeetGeek for a few years now and I'm just blown away by how the platform keeps improving!

Initially, I mainly relied on it for transcriptions and transcript-related tasks but now it has become my go-to AI notetaker too.

I like how easy the platform is to use and the high quality of both the transcription/caption creation and the AI note taking side of things.

I feel as if I've found a Swiss army knife, a hidden gem for my business toolkit. Highly recommended!
