I've used their desktop app to sync my files to the cloud for years. It works great, and instantly syncs everything as files are updated in real time. The plans and storage/bandwidth offered are an excellent deal, and unmatched!

Their desktop app doesn't even work
Their desktop app doesn't even work. Tried to download a simple 2 GB file, and it kept saying "retrying", "starting" without downloading anything. Then the app had the audacity to say I reached my download quota even though it didn't download a single byte of the file, begging for me to buy a subscription. Yeah, I'm gonna buy a subscription and pay for a broken website / app lol. I wish people would stop uploading to MEGA, link to download something; "crap, it's a MEGA link". The download quota is ridiculous, let alone saying I reached the quota when no file was even downloaded. Awful, just awful.

Great service
I initially had trouble with slow upload speed, but service was excellent and got my problem sorted out quickly. MEGA is a great alternative to Dropbox if you care about data security and hosting outside of the U.S.

Great support for the pro package, a couple of issues at first which turned out to be operator error (not uncommon), mainly to do with camera uploads folder being inside the sync folders.
Mega VPN also works well for me on three different operating systems.
