Mega.nz, is the best place to store your important files and also is very safe, secured and reliable. Mega was very helpful with me when I had an issue with forgetting my password and I was having so much trouble finding it. I emailed Mega support staff and they responded fast with professionalism , knowledge and supportive. They were able to assist me and I was able to login back into my account saving me from having to start a new account and risk losing all my important files, very grateful and appreciative of their services and products they offer.

To be honest, the previous version of the app was well designed, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Everything was clear and worked efficiently. Unfortunately, the new design feels like a major step backwards.
The current interface is extremely difficult to use. It is confusing, unfriendly, and unnecessarily complicated compared to the previous layout. Simple actions that used to be quick and straightforward now require more steps, and the overall navigation feels frustrating and poorly thought out.
It is difficult to understand why a design that worked so well was replaced with something that feels far less practical. At the moment, the new interface makes the app significantly less usable and much more annoying to work with on a daily basis.

My account was locked due to a malicious login, and I couldn't receive the recovery email because I no longer had access to the original email ID. The only way I could prove my ownership was by providing details about my primary file extensions, folder organization, used devices, and IP addresses. Despite these challenges, MEGA Support Team unlocked my account within 14 days and kindly explained the next steps. I am truly grateful for your help.

Not great to be kind! It's supposed to be unlimited but i get a transfer quota. After waiting around 2 hours for the transfer quota to be over. I try to continue the download but then it instantly gives me a transfer quota again.

I am a new customer and have been using it for about 9 months. I say using only in the sense that I subscribed and downloaded the software and let it run. I have been developing a massive Excel workbook for about 3 months. Many manhours of work. Yesterday Excel crashed on me and corrupted it to the point of nothing left of my work. The only backup I initially found on Mega was the same corrupt file. Backing up a file in real-time is one of the features of Mega. I emailed Mega support explaining my problem and after having a couple of emails back and forth Mega pointed me to the Mega archive of previously saved versions. Like most guys I know I did not read the manual. That's on me. I was able to recover a version from the day before and was back in business. Mega support was very helpful and quick to respond even though we are on the other side of the planet. The support is worth every penny of its subscription cost never mind having several days of previous backups at your fingertips. I highly recommend Mega for both small businesses and personal use.

I have been using Mega since 2022, so this review is based on several years of real use. I was quite surprised to see some negative reviews, so here is my experience.
At the beginning I only used it as cloud storage, but over time I discovered more and more super cool features.
I am a professional photographer and I produce a huge number of images. I currently use Mega to store my images, share files with press and clients, and also store website backups in an S3 bucket. I have completely replaced services like WeTransfer and reduced my use of iCloud and other services. I no longer need to upload images just to share photos because all the files are already in the cloud.
What I like is that I can view the uploaded images and see exactly the same folder structure that I have on my own devices. It makes organising large photo libraries much easier.
Both upload and download speeds are very fast. I am currently using the Pro II plan with 10TB and I am logged in on all my devices, including my phone. I have never had any login problems so I cannot comment on other bad reviews, but I also keep another backup so I always have a second source of my files.
Mega is very flexible and you can back up almost anything. I also connected Mega with my accounting app so I do not need to pay for extra storage elsewhere.
I have contacted support several times and always received a reply within about 12 hours. I noticed it works best to contact them through the contact form on their website.
However, there are a couple of things to be aware of. In my case the desktop app sometimes needs to be opened manually to keep backing up. Occasionally it stops, so I open the app to check if syncing is active or if everything has already been backed up. I should also mention that I am using an older version of the app and customer support has already advised me to update it.
Another thing is to read carefully about the difference between sync and backup. They work differently, so it is worth understanding which one is better for your workflow.
Overall I am very happy with Mega. It is fast, flexible and in my case it is actually saving me money.

The absolute worst cloud provider I've ever used. ZERO customer support, and I pay for 10TB. I have been locked out of my account for days even though I'm all paid up. Files, CC's and passwords, inaccessible. Zero support numbers, zero support chat, one support email that no one ever answers. Companies like Mega disgust me. Makes it abundantly clear they couldn't care less, free accounts I can understand. I pay(paid) you people $20 a month.
