What an incredible day
What an incredible day. First off, I won the family tickets in a Facebook competition. Tickets should have been £40 and I'd say it would be worth every penny. Cheaper than the cinema but much more campy fun.
It's as camp as Christmas, like watching an action version of a panto. Yes it's silly and yes at times you can see how much they ham it up when they're selling a move, but it really just such an enjoyable time. I've blown my voice out screaming and cheering, my son said it's the best day ever, my nieces were cheering along and loving it. All in all we had a fantastic time.
The athletes were great, they gave it their all despite it being a dreary, rainy day in Manchester. The heels were booed, the baby faces were cheered. They high fived the kids and interacted with the crowd.
What an absolute win. I'd definitely go again. I think my son is now on his path to becoming a lifelong fan.
