False advertising

I recently purchased a Tens machine from this company and it was false advertising. It was missing a piece that’s called a pad board where you put the pads after use. Otherwise you have to discard them after every use. That item was shown in the advertising when I contacted customer service Nico who was some sort of manager was very useless pretty much told me that the item does not come with it anymore and that I have to deal with it very rude. got very defensive after told him it was false advertising which it is.

Megawise customer service

We bought the food sealer from Amazon in May 2023. The sealer/vac mode ceased to function in Sept 2023. We have sent 5 emails with ALL the corresponding information to them (Amazon order#, date and cost of purchase, model and s/m). They continue to respond saying they do not have the Amazon order number. Buyer beware, the product functioned great until the one mode discontinued to work. The customer service is unsatisfactory.

Stay Away

I am writing this to serve as a warning to others who are thinking of doing business with MegaWise. Stay very far away. I recently purchased a MegaWise electric kettle for my mother. Upon receipt of the “brand-new” item, I noticed a great deal of water spots. Not wanting to go through the trouble of returning it, I washed it and it seemed fine. A minor side note to this is that I was supposed to receive a free gift with purchase. I did not. After three short weeks, I noticed some rust spots and decided to contact MegaWise. At the same time, I mentioned the missing gift. They provided cleaning instructions as well as the offer of a gift card. I followed the cleaning instructions, and it seemed to work. As for the gift card, they never followed through. I had to contact them again and they finally sent it.

The rusting returned a short 2-3 months later. I felt this was unsafe and unsanitary for my elderly mother. So, I contacted MegaWise again. They offered to send me a replacement. I contacted them after a week to inquire about the shipping status of the replacement. They have not responded. It’s been about two weeks now. I have no confidence that I will ever hear from them.

Beware positive reviews could be coercion

I usually try not to give bad reviews but this one seems to be more than needed. I recently purchased an item of theirs from Amazon, the product wasn't the best imo, so I gave my review of 3 stars and stated why in review.

A few days later I was contacted by a representative over email, and offered a gift card for my concerns. At first this all seems fine - until when I replied yes to the offer suddenly I am being asked 'to make my review a 5 star' due to customer support. I refused as I told them in a reply the review is based on the performance of the product. Since then, every week I've been getting more and more emails of 'gently asking to reconsider my review rating'

This has left a very sour taste in my opinion of the company now overall. I gave an honest review but now being pressured to change it? And sad part is, I never said the product was bad, just that I expected it was going to be better than it was.

So to all other who go on Amazon and see a lot of 5 star reviews of their products, I will say proceed with a lot of caution, what you may see as a honest review may be quite possibly a pay off for better ratings on a product.
