Don’t buy anything megger, from all the test equipment I have bought this is the worst experience, bought a megger x1 as I needed a new tester , has been back to megger its less than a year old but I’ve now been without a tester for a month, I have since bought another tester as I’m not sure when I’m going to get it back , best advice never buy megger

I bought Megger's Certsuite software to be able to clear my PAT tester of old assets and then re-upload the assets that were used last year only.
This hasn't been working for months since I bought the software (Year-license) and Megger have been ignoring me, the support has been inconsistent. I've been promised that it will be sorted and it still hasn't. I've been offered no compensation. When I've asked for how to complain officially, they won't respond. Really disappointed as I've used their PAT Testers for years in multiple different work places and always recommend them.

I am an electrical engineer who has used megger test kit equipment for many years. I own an megger EV test adapter which has recently become faulty as it now trips an RCD everytime you carry out a Zs test on the EV circuit. i have tried to contacting megger twice now with one month in-between each email to give them plenty time to response but they don't seem to be bothered to even reply. What is the point in having a warranty offered on products if you don't respond to emails sent to your service centre. I will now have to pay to have the adapter checked over by another company at my own expense. This is not the first time i have had issues dealing with there support team and in future i will not be purchasing any more megger equipment. I would suggest that anyone reading this reconsider buying any megger equipment because if it becomes faulty you will receive no support from megger

We use a PAT120 for our internal use mainly in a care home. We sent it to be calibirated for the first time it failed, and we are charged over £300 for the repair of it (New cost around £450) despite trying to reason with the fact it is costing us almost as much as a new one, we were not offered any discount for the repairs. I would not reccomend this equipment with the experience we had.
