Best Christmas cake ever and I have bought some v expensive ones from my time living in London. With fruit and walnuts you can see generous homemade marzipan and steeped in booze. I bought a large one for me directly from Meg Rivers and then picked up smaller ones for presents from a shop in Winchester. So many comments.

I absolutely love the Xmas cake. This year l bought a second one. My husband and I must have a piece every afternoon and hate it when there are only a few pieces left.

My husband loved the fruit cake but I found it less so, only because it was very rich.

The entire experience in buying our wedding cake from you was a success from the beginning, we asked questions online and they were resolved as soon as possible, the cake not only arrived exactly on the date and time indicated, but we also went informed by email at all times until arrival to avoid uncertainty completely. Regarding the decoration, our sugar flowers did not have any problem in sticking to the cake, because once placed, we poured a little glue over them, instead of only using it on the base in specific points. And as for the most important thing, the ingredients, we not only loved it because of the ingredients that we already knew it contained, but we were positively surprised since it also contained marzipan! a perfect and exquisite combination for a very elegant and perfect wedding cake!!!

Another great cake from Meg Rivers. I’m not a fan of fondant icing, so the marzipan topped Christmas cake was perfect. Moist with the right amount of textural crunch. My guilty pleasure with a cup of tea! Not cheap but worth every penny for an indulgent treat!

The Christmas cake is a repeat order from me as it’s so good, three years now and then ordering more in the after Christmas sale, it’s also worth mentioning communication and on time delivery make for an all round excellent experience
