Meike Please REPLY TO MY EMAILS!
I bought two lenses from Mikeglobal.com and they are working fine..
I went to update the firmware and was able to update the 85mmF1.8 but the 35mmF2.0 will not show on my desktop. I am therefore unable to update the firmware. I have tried 6 different USB C cables and it refuses to show on my mac.
I am using a M1 MacBook pro running Sequoia 15.6. Is this lens faulty?

To be honest, at first I thought that this could be junk. Many products without strong brand identities have fallen by the wayside in the photography world. Meike decided it would try three/four AF lenses for L mount. You could argue these are 10% worse than Lumix but they are in some cases more than 50% cheaper. Photographers and videographers are sick of being ripped off. I had a slight miscommunication with the company and they tried their absolute hardest to bridge the gap, they offered refunds, solutions with firmware. They are truly interested in moving the dial: solid, affordable lenses for the masses. This is what we all want. Of course, I want licensed products to do well but we cannot be in a situation where a lens system is twice the price of a premium camera because of brands. I was worried about autofocus, robustness and customer care. I need not have been. I sold my Panasonic kit lens because it did nothing well and replaced it with one Sigma Lens and the rest from the L mount range with Meike. So much effort goes into waryingness about Chinese goods (especially politically) but the goods are cheap, well made, the customer service is great, the companies bend over backwards to help consumers. This is the future of photography. Don't get me wrong, a Sigma 1.4 Aperture AF DGDN will be the best quality kit you can get, but I do believe with some confidence and if consumers don't judge a book by its cover, brands like Meike can raise their game.

I bought a set of FF prime cine lenses from this website, I received the parcels very fast and they covered the customs taxes for me, which saved me a few hundred dollars. Would definitely buy again.

I have a 50mm lens of theirs. Bought directly from themselves Meike Global which I have now had for 5 months. Around 3 months ago the issues started to happen in that the lens become wobbly in places. I reached out to ask how I could fix the wobbliness myself, I had not asked about warranty at this point. I was immediately told they would not repair it even after pointing out I only wanted to know how to tighten it in places, still a HARD NO. With no information on how to possible tighten certain screws that I could not see.

I say avoid at all costs and buy from Amazon who can be the ones to deal with them.

Sadly, buying directly from this globally known manufacturer is highly regrettable. Ordered a lens in Dec '21, but didn't receive as much as a confirmation email. Don't be fooled by the apparent contact options on their website - you won't be able to reach anybody via either live chat, Facebook or email. Almost two months later I finally received a refund, but only after opening a case with PayPal. What a waste of time.

You have to consider before buying from this seller.
I have purchased a lens from these guys on July 7th, 2021 and everything went smoothly perfect, the support were responsive and answered all of my questions, till the payment went through, then when all started, they weren't responding like before and they sent the lens the next day but I didn't receive any update after 15 days. The parcel stuck at the customs and they kept returning without any response from the seller. for July 7th to Aug 20th, when I started posting negative feedbacks on social media, they removed every comment from Facebook and twitter and refunded me. So, if you are considering buying a Meike lens, I would suggest to think twice before you do that or you'll be waiting for weeks if not months and get refunded afterwards.
