Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 78 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many buyers stated that the garments delivered were entirely made of cheap polyester instead of the natural wool shown clearly in the online advertisements. Consumers also pointed out that the clothing sizing was completely inaccurate, leading to ordered items that did not fit properly at all. However, some customers also noted that securing a full refund proved very difficult, frequently involving complicated return processes and tiny partial compensation offers. A few other people also felt that they successfully resolved their refund requests after contacting their payment providers or receiving direct company support.

This is a SCAM!!

The jumpers I received are 100% polyester and made in China. One of the jumpers was not even one that I had ordered. When I requested a full refund, Melia handed my request over to a company called Scenery Trade. They told me I would have to return the items to China at my cost! Melia and Scenery Trade are absolutely rubbish. So much for Melia's returns policy that you have 30 days to return your items!! Also, the items are shown as GBP but as soon as I pressed the 'Pay Now' button, it changed to USD and I ended up having to pay an exchange rate fee. This has got to be a SCAM.

Please don’t buy from this company

Please don’t buy from this company. Asked for 2 x 4XL and received 1 x 3XL & 1 x 4XL. Trying to return them is like getting blood out of stone. Why should I pay when it’s there mistake. Have offered me a 20% refund and keep the poor thin quality jumpers. Not happy.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. This company knowingly mis-sells cheap, mass-produced polyester pullovers as artisan-produced Icelandic sweaters. PayPal immediately refunded me the purchase-price on acknowledgement of the deception. Under no circumstances buy anything from this company.

Terrible quality items - printed not knitted

Terrible quality items: very unlike the photos - seams shoddy, neck and wrist areas baggy and out of shape. All packaging has Chinese printing on so I assume they are made in China and nothing to do with Norway. Have emailed customer services 4 times in 5 days with no reply so no way of returning, Some products not actually knitted, but printed onto poor quality fabric!! So very dishonest marketing. Avoid like the plague.

Was du NICHT tun solltest
❌ Kein „außergerichtliches Angebot“ des Shops akzeptieren
❌ Keine private Einigung außerhalb von PayPal
❌ Kein Teil-Rückerstattungsangebot akzeptieren („Wir geben 30 % zurück“)
❌ Nicht selbstständig nach China zurücksenden ohne PayPal-Entscheidung

You muppets

You muppets - Do you all seriously think you were going to get a hand-knitted Icelandic wool jumper for £35, when the genuine article will be minumum a couple of hundred £? The old adage "If it looks too good to be true..." comes to mind. If you'd done any backgound checks first, you'd have quickly discovered that a company supposedly trading since 1957 only created their website in November 2025. They're now advertising a closing down sale, so they're clearing off, along with your or your card company's money. The scammers have produced a very smart AI'd website, there's also an identical one for the Netherlands (and who knows where else), so they've likely made £millions from scamming 1000s of people. Google and Facebook are awash with these very smart scam sites and should be held to financial account for providing such an easy marketplace for scammers to defraud people. Before you make any purchase from a non-household name website, check TP reviews and run the web address through a website checker first!

Thank heavens for Paypal who refunded…

Thank heavens for Paypal who refunded my last minute purchase of a Woollen Sweater as a Christmas present for my wife. I won’t repeat everything that others have written, but this is a scam company offering counterfeit machine made polyester sweaters. Do Not Go There!

Like other reviewers I am disgusted…

Like other reviewers I am disgusted with this company. My "icelandic wool" jumper is 100% polyester, and very poor quality polyester at that, shiny and just nasty. I ordered a large but it is obviously meant to be large if you are a small Chinese lady. The sleeves are far too short and the general fit is small. The neckline is awful. I have sent the company customer services an e mail demanding a refund and a pre paid label to return the item but am not holding my breath!
Like another lady said, I wish I hadn't been taken in by the clever advertising and had read the revies first!! Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
