Good app, but the price increase raises expectations
Melo.Video is a solid little tool that does its job well. It's easy to use, and even with a few limitations, it offers good value for the money. However, I was disappointed to see the export price increase from $1.99 to $2.99 without any prior notice. Sure, it's only one dollar, but that's a 50% increase. Was it really necessary?
The app is still missing some basic Google Fonts and useful text effects. At the old price, these shortcomings were easy to overlook. At the new price, I think it's fair to expect some improvements in return.
I don't think Melo.Video deserves a bad rating because it genuinely is a useful tool. But I can't give it more than 3 stars right now. I hope the team keeps improving it, rather than simply charging more for the same experience.

We're also actively improving the app! Just recently, we've added over 30 new templates, 11 lyric styles, improved automatic lyrics, song trimming, and 12 new background effects.
