Ordered a couple of tees which turned out to be terrible quality so I returned them. Melou Clothing apparently never received my return so I received no refund.
I bought a cap for €40 that faded after just the fifth time I wore it. I contacted Melou (attaching photos), as this is clearly not normal for such an expensive item—especially considering I never use any products on my hair. I also asked how I was supposed to wash it. I received no response.
A week later, I forwarded my message to a different Melou email address. A few days after that, I finally got a reply—only in English. Their exact words (translated):
“Regarding your photos: we looked at them carefully. The cap looks happily worn and full of life. In fact, that’s how we like to think of fabrics: they’re alive and change with you the more you wear them.”
In short, they had the nerve to tell me they like the worn-out look, even though I had only worn the cap five times (as I clearly stated). I have €10 caps that have never had this kind of issue.
And to top it all off, they offered me a €20 discount on my next purchase—as if I’d ever want to buy from them again after this fiasco! They can’t replace the cap because they’ve run out of fabric. When I replied asking them to make it with a different fabric (since the fabric was the actual problem), they just stopped responding.Terrible quality and even worse customer service. Goodbye, and never again.
