Teledoc's a waste of time
Teledoc's a waste of time. We use these services because we want to avoid the trip to the doctor, are perhaps even unable to make a trip to the doctor - due to disability, mobility issues, whatever - and then they refuse to prescribe meds or antibiotics anyway. So you call them because you're ill and feel you need antibiotics, but they're saying, well, if you're that ill, you should really see a doctor... for chest xrays and blood work, etc. They charge virtually the same - like $475 for a ten minute phone conversation - and they won't even write a $10 script for you? that might, ultimately, save you a trip to the hospital. It's just a sham. Cause you usually end up making a trip to the doctor anyway. In which case your insurance co. is doubly charged.
I am 55 years old and I know when I…
I am 55 years old and I know when I have strep throat. I have raised my own children and I run a child care center for over 30 years and I know strep when I see it. I called today after fever, major head ache, pus pockets, swollen tonsils and lymph nodes, horrible breath and pain all over!! The call a doc say I only have two out of 5 so they can not give me medication. I just spent $25 to be told it could be allergies.... I know the difference and I am not going to wait another day and pay $25 again to get meds I should of got today! What a scam... I wish walmart had never taking over MeMD because they DO NOT LISTEN to the caller or understand when you work with kids in a child care center and strep is going around......it is contagious and adults that are caregivers.... catch it
Big waste of time and money
Big waste of time and money. Go to Quick Care was her anwser. Get test for covid then I can prescribe something for you. Thank you for nothing. SCAM.
0 stars is more appropriate
This is an awful service!! I scheduled an appointment and had a mediocre meeting. Called for a follow up and the doctor never showed up to the appointment. When I called to inquire why, I was told she had an emergency. She couldn’t reschedule for 2 weeks. Rebooked for that appointment and she had another “emergency” and canceled the day before the appointment. She was supposedly leaving the country and wasn’t available for 10 more days. Every time I call to schedule a new doctor, I spend over an hour on the phone or am promise a call back within 48 hours. Which has never happened after more than 5 calls. We get this service through our insurance, but even free isn’t worth the headache it causes. This is the worst run business I have ever seen!
waste of money
I was excited about this service - until it came time to use it. My son had pink eye, got my account setup…. Time for a visit but you HAVE to send a photo to see a doc and for the next 4 hours I tried via text, email, multiple times. Thy were not getting it. I finally have up. Why do you have to have a photo to get a visit, just does not make sense to me!!!!!! I’ll be canceling this “benefit” asap.
I asked for a video visit
I asked for a video visit, I got a very short phone call over an hour later. I described my symptoms of a throat infection, I got take zyrtec. I was told by the doctor he would call in for cough medicine, I got nothing called in. I asked for help with getting antibiotics before Hurricane Nicole shut down the pharmacy, I got "hunker down". I called back to ask someone else for help, that was 8hrs ago and still no return call from their callback service. I can't get back my time, I should get back my money.
Worst experience ever.
Worst experience ever.
It's been over a month and I am still trying to get an appointment set up.
They have charged my card after they couldn't figure out how to use my insurance... Allstate/Cigna???
They canceled an appointment without me knowing.
They only have availability a week or more out.
You have to call to set up an appointment.
The portal is no longer letting me see appointments (forever loading... for the past week)
Stay away from MeMD
My experience with MeMD was horrible. I have a subscription with a company that uses MeMD as the provider platform. I have the Primary Care PCP service, Urgent care and therapist included. I scheduled appointments online with the PCP and had been rescheduled on multiple times. I scheduled the appointment online and then I would get a call from the care coordinator that the provider is not available that day and need to reschedule the appt or I had to contact MeMD myself to say that the provider never contacted me on the scheduled visit day. I have had appts with the therapist and they have had trouble with the MeMD system and the coordinator had to call me to connect me to the therapist after the scheduled time. I had issues connecting with a provider and I was told that if I didn't call MeMD back within the 5 minute mark that I would be charged a $50 no show fee. I have called MeMD and you call into the number and have to wait for a representative to answer the call and then wait for them to pull up your information and then transfer your call to a care coordinator and sometimes this can take longer than 5 minutes at that point they already have your $50 and mark you as a no show. Long story short their system for taking customer calls is outdated and their scheduling system is the pits any I would not recommend their service to anyone.
Easy and FAST
Easy and FAST! I was able to set up an account, make an appointment, and talk with a live physician in only about 20 minutes! The physician listen to my concerns , asked a few questions about my symptoms (sinus infection) and sent an antibiotic to my local pharmacy electronically. It was way cheaper than what my insurance would have covered if I would have went to my PCP office for a visit. I’ll be using this service again. Highly recommend for busy folks who need relief.

Have used um before had Jenny M as Doc she was great .well last time had nurse practitioner named Shelly Turk had terrible manners. I had to call back several times screwed up everything then tried to refuse antibiotic for a low IGA patient with bronchitis during covid. This women does not belong in that job ,too rough, bad listening skills and weak knowledge.Peace Jeff D.
Excellent
Excellent. Personable. DR didn't rush me. Actually listened to my symptoms and what I feel would work based on me knowing my body and my history. Extremely professional and caring. Great DR. Would definitely recommend.
Wonderful Team
The convenience factor alone makes this a 5 star rating! Though I missed the phone call for my Phone Appointment three times, by a millisecond each time, I still was able to call back and get transferred to the physician right away and was still heard and treated with respect even though I was not a prompt patient. I appreciate the care and the easy conversation I had with the provider and will absolutely continue to utilize this organization in the future! Thank you!!
There was a teeny issue with my pharmacy rejecting the order but all I had to do was call MeMD and they were able to fix it within a matter of moments! Wonderful customer service all around!

The Doctor returned my call within minutes, listened to my needs, inquired about my medical history and wrote a refill for my medication. Very polite and personable. Pleasant experience.
Quick Easy Cheap
Didn't take more than a hour from start to finish. Dr. prescribed what I needed without a long, expensive, and embarrassing trip to an office. Insurance covered most of the medication cost. $70 (including medication) headache free easy treatment.
I was skeptical after trying Teledoc years ago but this visit with this company worked out great.
It’s great!
Never a long wait Doctors are friendly and very knowledgeable. Never have a problem. Love this app and program.
Covid help
Thanks for the good and timely care. I was feeling pretty awful and the doctor gave me good advice and a couple of prescriptions, and I started feeling better a few days later.
