I was quoted $4,200 for a TRT pellet treatment I’ve been receiving for $1,200 from a urologist. Only after pointing out how absurd that price was did the office manager suddenly drop it to $1,200. That alone felt shady — but I had no idea how bad things would get.
My first procedure was done by someone who admitted he had never performed it before, while the actual provider wasn’t even in the building. The pain was worse than any of my previous treatments, and the incision wouldn’t stay closed for six weeks.
Round two was a mess of last‑minute cancellations, false assurances, and more bait‑and‑switch. I was promised the provider would perform the procedure — only to arrive and find out, again, that she wasn’t on site. A different person walked in to do it while I was already on the table.
The next day, I asked for help with the wound and bandage. I was told they “don’t do that.” No one even looked at the wound until I insisted. When they finally did, the bandage was soaked with blood.
I shouldn’t have to write this. But after what I experienced, I feel obligated to warn others. Something is very wrong here.
