Rude management

Average food, not cheap drinks, super rude services.
The venue was overcrowded, with no space to move around. There is no access number control and the security guards do not put up any signs or belt for the aisles, but come and rudely shout to us from time to time. Definitely won’t go again.

Nice place

Nice place. I’ve been to the one in Mayfair.
Food is a hit and miss - Italian place on the ground floor serves nice Cacio e Pepe with truffles. Ramen place on the upper floor is also good.

What the place really scores on is the ambience and the cocktail bars - very much worth a visit.
Try to avoid peak times.

Don't go

Our previous visit was excellent, good food and portion sizes. We revisted for my birthday lunch the pomadoro& burrata pasta was terrible. Watery tomato sauce whilst the burrata was scooped from slurry in a tin container, YUCK

The chai latte was a cup of milk with a splash of syrup. One scoop of ice cream halved was served into a medium cup for £7

The roof terrace is the size of a postage stamp with lots of stairs.
The lift was broken, it was an unpleasant expensive birthday experience.

The weather was beautiful

A gem among London's top food markets

A gem among London's top food markets! My visit took place at 12.30pm on a Monday and, unlike Borough Market, the hustle and bustle was pleasantly absent. Our delightful selection consisted of mouth-watering grilled pork ribs accompanied by crispy chips and a refreshing salad. The range of choices was truly remarkable, spanning Italian, Lebanese, Asian and Caribbean flavours. I can't wait to make another trip here to discover more culinary wonders. I was also amazed to discover that they brew their own beer on site within the confines of the market.

Very disappointing food quality

We heard about Mercato Mayfair on our favourite Radio London show so we went yesterday. I had half a lobster and fries from Molo, it was dry, overcooked and was a tiny portion. Would have got more meat out of a large tiger prawn, not sure how that size lobster is even legal!! My partner had the Nasi Lemak vegan/vegetarian(both??) from Spice Lab, 2 small half rounds of coloured rice and a bit of leaf, our two friends had pizzas from Fresco, they were soggy wet as the tomato sauce was so runny, we had wine from the upstairs wine bar and when I was charged more than the advertised price for the wine, he informed me, "that price showing is wrong, the till price is right" and charged me more than the advertised price. On our favourite radio show, Mercato promoted themselves as an "Italian Foodhall", we expected some good Italian food at least, but unfortunately all the food we experienced was poor!!

YMX & Mercato Metropolitano

YMX & Mercato Metropolitano. They are just a scam for musicians and artists. They owe me money and they did not pay their staff during the pandemic whilst asking them to work from home. Max, you are disgraceful and you should be ashamed of yourself. Lying about your mom? Come on, man. You are disgusting.
