Easy to make payments online
Easy to make payments online. I don't have to add my bank (which doesn't do the Plaid platform) and then it rejects it. I have a debit bank card that I use for everything. They send reminders but don't overwhelm me. Could lower the interest rate though!

i called to open a 250,000 cd and the representative could not answer any questions about the product such as: interest compounding method, daily, monthly, quarterly, annually, etc. she could not tell me if i could withdraw interest each month by transfer to an external bank. she could not verify if a hard credit or soft report was pulled to open the account. she could answer absolutely any questions. she took my telephone number and claimed someone else (probably a bigger idiot) would return my call. i hung up opened an account elsewhere in 5 minutes after the personal banker gave me all the information needed to satisfy my research. after reading the reviews i suspect these people are all inbred incompetence and morally bankrupt. the lady though was very nice who could not answer any questions....

MERRICK BANK
MERRICK BANK – WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DOESNT TAKE ANY RESPONSABILITY FOR THEIR WRONG DOING
After paying off my trailer, I spent the last three months making multiple calls to Merrick Bank's customer service department trying to obtain my title.
Today, around 1:00 p.m., I called again and was told that my title was still with the Illinois DMV and that Merrick Bank was waiting to hear back from them. I immediately contacted the Illinois DMV, and they informed me that the title had been sent to Merrick Bank in June 2023.
When I called Merrick Bank back with this information, I was then told that my title may have been lost. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a solution, I was instructed to take my lien release letter to the Florida DMV to transfer the title.
My husband then contacted the Florida DMV, where we were informed that a physical title is required. Since the original title was apparently lost, we are now being forced to pay at least $50 for a duplicate title, plus any additional DMV fees—all because of an issue that appears to have been caused by Merrick Bank.
To make matters even worse, Melanie from customer service was extremely unprofessional. She repeatedly interrupted me, refused to let me explain the situation, insisted that going to the Florida DMV was my only option, and ultimately hung up on us.
After months of waiting, receiving conflicting information, and now facing additional expenses because my title was apparently lost, this experience has been incredibly frustrating. Merrick Bank's lack of accountability and poor customer service are completely unacceptable. I expected far better treatment from a financial institution.
I do not recommend this institution.

I have made two payments on my credit card. It was taking out of my account but not credited and my credit card was blocked causing all kinds of chaos in my life. I will not be making any more payments. I have paid $100 total that has come out of my Truist account. I will not be making any more payments until this is rectified.

I received a new card ending the exact same number as the old card. I called customer service and even spoke with a supervisor and received the same exact response. The old card does not expire until 11/29 and the new card 2/31. I asked that if a claim was made back in January that allegedly the old card (11/29) was reported damage back in January of 2026, why would it take 6 months to get a new card of July 2026? When normally, it only takes 5 to 10 business days to get a new card. In addition to this, my last increase was also 6 month ago and I was told that I will be notified through email regarding getting a new card. I had have high hopes and in recommending Merrick Bank, I am not sure if that is a good idea. I would like for an executive to reach out to me regarding these issues.
