STAY AWAY !!!

Terrible experience with this so called dealer, I saw and agreed to purchase vehicle white Ford Fiesta LL60 RKO, prior to agreeing putting a deposit down I requested for front tyres be changed as both were at legal limit, he agreed to replace with second hand tyres to which I did not mind at all, AC wasn’t working so I pointed this one out, coolant needed topping up as was at minimum level and the bonnet rod holder was broke, he also agreed to supply a spare key, all this was agreed, even though a reputable dealer should have most of these checked prior to advertising the vehicle. I paid him a deposit of £500 and agreed to pick the vehicle up the next weekend. Few days later he rings me to say spare key was going to cost him £120 and requested contribution, this I did not expect as it was agreed prior to putting the deposit down, so I did the natural thing and refused his unreasonable reques.

Comes pick up day - very fortunately I thought to my self let me do one last check, to my horror, coolant hadn’t been topped up, bonnet rod holder still not replaced and the vehicle was low on engine oil even though the engine was running prior to my arrival, I checked underneath of the engine and noticed a leak, he called his mechanic to which it was confirmed there was a fault needing to be repaired, to make matters worse he had the audacity to tell me it was a second hand car what to expect and refused to repair unless I pay for the repair, even though it was not under my ownership and an apparent warranty comes with this vehicle. I was truly shocked and disgusted at this level of deception and blackmail, as a result I requested my deposit back. I count myself extremely fortunate not to have a bought from this dealership. Just a warning to everyone out there !!!
