I almost fell for it.

So like many examples I read here, mine is similar only I didn't download the app as requested. I got a text from a wrong number, was pleasant with this person and we just started chit chatting. Sent a few photos, beautiful Chinese woman, can't believe she has interest in a friendship with me. We chat for a week or two, talk a little about investing. She owns her own business, sends me screenshots of her trading where she made thousands a day. Then she wants me to download the Meta Trader 5 app and when I push back, she insists I do it. She keeps pushing it and I pushed back. Although she is still friendly with me, I felt that something was not quite right with this. Thank you for your reviews, I will NOT download this app and will instead run to my bank to look at my money.

BE AWARE using MT5 & MT4

BE AWARE, it is not real and if you were approached by a lady or man asking you to trade in gold using MT5 or MT5, IT IS A SCAM, save yourself and your money and go invest it in stocks and trusted brokers or platforms.
What happened to all of the other reviewers happened to me as well. I was approached by a lady who stated that she has an analysis team who helps her make profitable trades but it is all fake. the lady is fake, the numbers you see are fake, the email is fake, everything is fake. My advice if you ever get help from someone online regarding trading online simply dont trust them. that is what ia have been doing for years but I have no idea why I gave in this time! just be careful and don't trust anyone who simply text you out of the blue regarding investing or anything like that!

Recent experience with MetaTrader 5 App led to significant loss

I had a recent experience with MetaTrader5 that was very costly to me an my family. This App is used as a front by unknown scammers using cryptocurrency to do fake trades on the MT5 platform. This IS NOT a verified company. I was approached by a Asian person who had me download the MT5 app. They gain your trust and even give you their money to trade on the platform. I do not know if this an actual person or a robot. The App shows that all of trades are successful and make money. Suddenly they want it all back. They will pressure you to buy BTC and then transfer it to MetaTrader 5 where they do their dirty work. They use a fake app to make it appear you are making a great return while in reality they are stealing your money.
Their agents are not transparent and will threaten you to pay a "front end" tax in 20 days in order to get your money back. MT5 will not assist you in any way! Run the other way!

Pathetic compared to modern trading platforms

Compared to modern trading platforms, this is close to junk - good developers have to do great things to make it useable - unforgivable usability issues include it not being possible to run an EA and indicator in the background - so your indicators either run on top of the candles on or top of your EA - so it's very hard to create a clean chart. It is also pathetic that you cannot get candles less than 1 minute - all modern platforms allow for seconds candles, so this inhibits the chance of skilfully using fast charts for entries. It is beyond comprehension how this is not possible - but MT5 is made for brokers not for traders, so they probably don't care. There is no replay mode like jforex and tradingview so back testing is laborious at best - I could go on - the drawing tools are medieval - there are not programmable hotkeys - it does not deserve its status as a modern platform.

I have received a call from some…

I have received a call from some Kuldeep Sharma of SHARON SERVICES AND TM GROUP from mumbai having phone no. 7415271631 on dated April 30, 2022 to open an account for share trading in India for indian shares future and forex , after so many call , I have open an account with his Meta Trader 5 plateform on May 30, 2022. but did not work till 26 July, 2022 , in between I have received so many call and watsapp message on my phone. On 26th July 2022 I have transferred a sum of Rs. 10000/- in his account no 059721010000026 . he give me a password and I start trading in account of Meta trader 5 (broker Kuldeep ), I did work in this account and transfer money Rs. 20000/- in same account by me on 28/07/2022 as he says that more margin required. on August 02, 2022 I again transfer Rs. 20000/- as he says margin is short and again he says that margin is short I have transferred again 20000/- on August 04,2022.
on 11th Aug. 2022 I have made a request to Kuldeep for return money Rs. 50000/- in my account , he reply oksir, but did not transfer the money in my account. despite my several reminder he willfully did some wrong transaction in my account to make me loss and wipeout my money , I understand his intention behind it than I forced him to return back my all money which stand in my account which was about Rs. 120000/- including profit on share trading and my money. Now he is neither pick my phone nor reply on watsapp nor return my money . company metatrader 5 not helping to the clients. It is completely a fraud company and all his brokers are fraud. Only one window is there i.e. pay him and don’t ask for return.
I request no one should work with any such people connected with metatrader5

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Well. I like to think im not stupid but apparently i am. Met a woman on twitter. General chit chat. This lady had a number of businesses one was forex trading. Comp Wealth-Ltd.com then 8 weeks later Cangint.com I was guided with demo. Over time and communication she gained my trust. She even allegedly put funds in my account to earn more. This was going well. Made a couple of small withdrawals ok. Reached 60,000USD Profit told to pay 20%taxes. Appeared normal request considering profit. Once paid i went to withdraw a second time. My account was frozen because i put in incorrect remarks. This is like when you put in "rent" etc...when paying a bill. No information is given about processes. Lost about £40,000 . I take ownership. Hope this helps others.

Names Can Be Changed In A Nanosecond

I had a similar experience as many others who have posted here. An Asian girl contacted me via Tinder with a link to Line enclosed. We struck up a conversation on the Line app, which mostly revolved around trading gold. Claimed to be from Hong Kong but I doubt it. I was convinced I was communicating with a robot because the context of her conversation sounded so dehumanized. It transpired she was using google translate to generate replies. She used the scammer’s textbook ploy of sending me multiple screenshots of fabricated gold trades, alluding to outrageous profits. I soon discovered she had multiple Line accounts with interchangeable names. One day she called herself Susan, the next it would change to Crystal. But when you’re dealing with predatory scammers names mean nothing - they change their names more often than their underwear.
Her sales spill and knowledge of trading sounded as though it were being parroted from a trading manual for dummies. Crude in the extreme, over-simplistic and peppered with clueless idiot’s cliches - such as maximize leverage to maximize profits - buy low sell high.
As a professional I immediately concluded she wouldn’t be capable of making a winning trade to save her life. The only money she makes from this racket is robbing people’s hard-earned money through criminal activity. Needless to say I didn’t took the bait.

My advice is to do due diligence when approached on social media. Scammers have no integrity or morals; they are criminals and there is no low to which they will not stoop. Beware because they often exploit social media platforms to reel in victims. Nothing is real about them - profile pictures, names and life stories are totally fictional. If you want to trade, open an account with a globally recognized company which can be held accountable.

KOVIE GLOBAL is scam, never trade with them

It's a shame that a reputable software provider like MT5 allows fraudulent brokers to register and use their platform and there's no way to report these type of brokers.
Like many people it started with an Asian lady that accidentally sent me a message on whatsapp. To cut long story short, she made me open a live account with KOVIE GLOBAL and after trading together with her guidance, I wanted to withdraw some profit. They said I have to pay 15% tax of my total account balance before I can make a withdrawal. They even claim the tax is as stipulated by the Australian govt. The ATO only requires citizens to pay tax on capital gains and they do not authorize brokers to collect tax for them. I even emailed the ATO, got a response from them and forwarded it to the them, they still insist that I have to pay 15% tax before I can withdraw my funds. Please beware of KOVIE GLOBAL they're scammers, they'll keep asking you to bring more money and you can only make deposit with them using crypto USDT transfer. I have over 45K with them can't withdraw my funds, all my savings is lost. MT5 needs to do something about brokers like this on their platform to preserve their reputation.

A scam, scam agents approach you to help you earn money

I read a lot of negative comments about this platform and thought about doing some research and my findings are, This is a scam, they have even recruited girls or maybe male guys pretending to be girls, these Chinese scammers will approach you and will talk to you for a couple of days sending you her (maybe fake) pictures getting personal to you to gain confidence by sending screenshots of earning thousands of $ on everyday basis offering you help to earn a lot of money and will try to trap you to get money out of you as much as they can.
Don't be greedy and be very careful.

SCAM

SCAM. MT5 is a rotten scam. I had invested nearly 7900 USDT during December 2021 till March 2022. I did trading by the platform they gave and the closing balance in my account was USDT 31363. All this started by an unknown Singapore lady in whatsup, her name is CARLO and her whatsup number is +44 7586361022. She lured me to invest my hard earned savings promising high returns. She was always forcing me for more investment. Then I found that the name MT5 and the Singapore address and London head quaters address she gave proved false when I searched in google. Now she has blocked my account and demanding 1000 $ to open my account. I dont know where to complain. If anybody have any idea please guide me...
Name of company: MT5
Place of business: Singapore
Headoffice: London
Agent name: CARLO(most probably fake)
Phone no: +44 7586361022

It seems like I am almost in trouble

It seems like I am almost in trouble. I met a sweet and beautiful Young lady on FB. After a short chat, she convinced me to switch to WhatsApp. Then we had a few days close conversation, gentle and considerate. Slowly she switch the topic to investment and advised me to download MT5. Before I go any further I decided to do some research. Here you go, it is a scam. Thank you for this site and reviews. Now I'm going to stop here.
