Their merit of four stars…

I rate them with four stars because of their consistent follow up with timely and daily information. And they meant to establish a STRONG FOREX TRADING SYSTEM of its kind to the FINANCIAL FREEDOM of many who are opportuned to participate in their platform.

MetaWorld is Dedric Ried's scam operation!

MetaWorld owner Dedric Reid doesn't know how to run a business and communicate with his customers, so it's ZERO surprise that people who invested in Metaworld feel scammed.

I work in AAA game development and I know how to run large game teams and this project in hindsight reeks of mismanagement and lofty expectations ...or lies. There are game studios like Cloud Imperium Games who make the still in development, Star Citizen, who get blamed for being a scam yet are 1000% transparent with their backers every week with weekly video updates, blog posts, and data.

MetaWorld has done none of that. Its Discord channel is still even up and Dedric still hasn't shown up in years to tell his backers what the ETA is on this project because he doesn't know. He's likely terrified and ill-equipped to handle this situation. The fact he's active on Twitter discussing his other project and never ever mentions MetaWorld speaks to how purposely tone-deaf he is regarding the optics of this. He can't hide forever, not even Burning Man, and this is going to backfire hard on him once it's more investigated. Especially what has been leaking out from MetaWorld's team on blogs that this project will never see the light of day ...he knows all backers will very much want a refund.

All of us can't wait for the lawsuit at this point.

I was scammed out of hundreds of…

I was scammed out of hundreds of dollars that I will never get back. I purchased land, metacoin and other things for the game back in 2018 and it's 2021 now and the game never launched. After waiting for a long time I asked for a refund and was refused! There's no way to get the Metacoin either. It was all one giant scam!

If you go to their website it's not even functional anymore! I can't log into my account and see anything I purchased.

This was supposed to be released long…

This was supposed to be released long ago, but there has been nothing new shown, no explanations, no hint of any progress and I doubt if anyone is even working on it currently.

Yet they're still taking people's money with the site being up and making the same promises with no estimates and nothing to show for it.

This is the videogame equivalent of when your friend borrows money from you and then just keeps saying "I'll pay you later" so long you'll forget about the whole thing.

Also - why is it that this is overall marked as 3 stars when there's 2 reviews, both 1/5 stars?

Do not give your money to MetaWorld

MetaWorld has been taking money from consumers for 4 years and making promises of a game that continues to be pushed back without explanation. Anytime you ask about your money or the game, the current developer/owner bans you from the community. Due to the lack of any updated content, one would come to the conclusion that this is a scam and as long as wishful thinking gamers contribute their hard earned money towards MetaWorld, Dedric Reid will keep up the charade. Do your research and you will find a long list of people that Dedric Reid has taken money from and not delivered on any of his promises.
