Many people have reported being scammed by them. Their customer service, legal advice, and overall processes are often described as unhelpful, and delays are commonly reported. People should avoid engaging with them.

MetConnect is a scam! Mr. Arsheed as CEO guarantees 100% success, but in reality, he just wants your money. I paid everything upfront and got nothing in return.

Please be cautious when working with MetConnect Consultant in Braga (managed by Arsheed). Many newcomers from South Asian countries, especially those arriving from the Gulf, are being charged very high fees for services that are actually free or low-cost in Portugal.
There has also been at least one case where delays in the TRC process resulted in serious legal issues for a client, followed by requests for more payment to resolve the situation.
Important: Most residency steps in Portugal can be handled independently:
TRC booking, School enrollment, SNS number, Junta certificate,Bank account opening
All can be done directly through public offices, which are generally supportive and straightforward to work with.
Always verify official government fees before paying anyone.
Sharing this to help other new arrivals avoid unnecessary stress and financial loss.

I told a customer service rep that I would check it out and call them back…. All of the sudden she became RUDE and hung up on me… that is SUSPICIOUS to me!!! My view is to “ Do NOT trust THEM!!!!
