Awful product and customer service regarding returns

I wish I had read these reviews before making the mistake of ordering from Metisu. I ordered two dresses. When I received them, neither of them fit properly. One was way too small and the other one was way too big (both were size small). The dresses also were made from very poor quality materials. I immediately tried to contact the company through their facebook chat option on the website, but no one returned my message. I then emailed the customer service and was told I needed to complete the return form they attached and then ship them back to CHINA and pay for the return shipping myself. I proceeded to take them to the post office and was told the price of shipping would cost more than half of what I paid for the dresses. After that I contacted Metisu again and explained that I have never experienced anything like this before and again asked if there was any way they could cover the return shipping. At that point they offered to take $5 off my order and give me 10% off future orders. I explained that I would never be shopping with them again and that I would appreciate it if they could just cover the return shipping. They replied that they would not do that and I could send them back using the cheapest shipping method I wanted. Well the cheapest method is still more than half the cost of the dresses. At this point, I have requested the $5 credit and I will never order from this company again and I will let others know that they too should not order from this company!

But customer needs to bear the shipping fee if there is no quality issue, this is specified in our return policy. I ordered one dress from Metisu.com and my dress arrived on time!!! Thank you! I got lots of complements about the dress. I loved the dress, but after washing the lace became discolored and I ask customer service for help. They sent me a new same kind of dress for free and I just paid for the shipping. Really happy that I got the new dress because it's really pretty and the quality by the way is really good. Thank you Metisu :)

My dress took just over 3 weeks for delivery, and fit a little snug, but item is as described and beautiful! Customer service was also quick and helpful to help me fimd my tracking number. I will order from them again.

A BIG scam

A BIG scam. I ordered a dress and tried to cancel the next day. No response. The dress arrived 3 weeks later, was too small and poor quality. Tried to contact them again, after learning their return policy says you have to contact them to get your return authorized, otherwise they will return it to you and charge you shipping. So I am out all my money and no dress. Do NOT make the same mistake I read. Wish I would have read reviews and return policy first. Save yourself the time, money and aggravation and DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

UPDATE:
8 Min. after I posted this review I got a reply from Metisu via the Trustpilot site:

I immediately contacted them via the email provided (same one I tried 2 times before) and it's been over 24 hours..... and I have heard nothing. I am not at all surprised. Just one more example of how awful this "business" is. They must generate these to TRY and make it look like they are going to take care of unhappy customers. DO NOT BE FOOLED.

If you order from them you will be throwing your money away. If you really want to give your money away- PLEASE find a worthwhile local cause to support and do NOT give these scam artists any more money.

UPDATE 2:
I am sending messages to the email they list AND replying to email they sent me confirming my order. They claim they can't find my record.... just more terrible customer service. Notice they never provide a number where i could actually talk to live PERSON. NOPE, Just more lies and bad service.

Dress smells like solvent/gasoline even after airing out overnight on a hanger. I will not even try it on as chemicals may be harmful or banned in US. Company offered me a 10% discount on my next order! Said the odor was from “moisture from ironing”! Unless they ironed with chemicals that is the lamest response ever. Visually the dress bunches on each side where the bodice is sewn to the skirt. I will never know how it fit because the way it smells it is going straight in the trash. Customer service responds quickly but does not solve your problem. I would never order from them again so a 10% discount is worthless. I didn’t do enough research on this company before I ordered - lost my money -learned my lesson - buyer beware.

Update- I posted this review on the company website and it was taken down. That is why you will only see 5 and a few 4 star reviews!

Sizing is off

I ordered 6 dresses from Metisu all same size xS (I am between a 0 and 2 regular in US). 4 of them fit perfectly and love the quality. Why is there a problem with the other two? The other two are too small cannot even fit a little girl? Would love to exchange them for a different size or return them. How can I go about it without any drama in a very fast and efficient way? DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. ITS A SCAM.

Ordered a dress three months ago. Order number: 203742. Never received my order. Contacted the company several dozen times trying to locate the whereabouts of the order. It was in preshipment for two months (they never even shipped it). I finally requested to recieve a refund, and they would not let me. They kept beating around the bush and told me that they would send out another shipment. I specically told them that I did not want the dress any longer because the event that I ordered it for had already passed. After pestering them for several days, they finally told me that they would send me a refund for the product. Blamed the shipping delay on “bad weather”. I still have not received a refund and it has been over two weeks. Do not trust this site. It’s a scam.

A month + and still waiting for a dress

I ordered a dress on Jan. 18 for a special occasion. As of today March 1st I haven't received it. I keep getting the run around, it's on its way, bad weather caused delays, wait 5 more days, etc. It's such a shame, because I like their dresses, but the wait is ridiculous. They have poor customer service. They never contacted me to give me an update even though it's been over a month since I made the purchase, I have to keep asking and I am not getting anywhere. I'll give them 5 more days and we'll see what happens. I am never purchasing from this company again. I've learned my lesson.

This is where I get my amazing green…

This is where I get my amazing green dress. It far exceeded my expectation. The lace detail is very nice and the whole look stands out. Love the green pearl look button. It's a bit stretchy so fits perfectly. But it's a little long so I have to make some alteration. Overall I'm happy with this dress.

Nil delivery of dresses ordered for my wedding

I ordered 2 dresses for my daughters to wear as bridesmaids for my upcoming wedding. 2 weeks later there is 4 international departure dates of them leaving china but they are still "enroute" to Australia. I ordered dress from Metisu and absolutely happy with it. I never want to order online esp. dress (but no time to go for shop at that time). It fits nicely on me M size ( me wearing 8-10). Good material as describe. It was holiday season, however, it came on time. Metisu had tracking number. I just tracked it and tada... it was in my mailbox on time as stated. Overall recommended.

Ordered a dress a month ago

Ordered a dress a month ago. They use EMS shipping company, which updates its shipment tracking...mmmm about once every 2 weeks or so if you're lucky. The dresses are from China and it may or may not make it to you within a few months of ordering. I had a lot of hesitations when ordering the dress because of some other reviews. I wish I would have trusted my gut. If I ever see my dress, I'll be sure to post again on its quality. Just don't do it. It's not worth waiting months on end for a dress. A dress for which the occasion I needed it for has since passed. I have tried to just cancel it and get a refund but I've been told thats not an option. I just have to wait for it to arrive someday. And if I do get it and don't like it I can return it on my own dime to China :) if you are having doubts and reading this...just trust your gut. Me and customer service have spent a lot of time together already. I have a feeling they are just as ready for the shipment to arrive as I am. Should get a better shipping vendor if they want repeat customers.

Wait forever to get the item

Ordered an item and they said it’s shipped out in Dec 9th. After 2 weeks, there is no update on tracking number, and it’s still somewhere in China. I don’t know if I receive it on time.
Big question about the quality too.
