Excellent service and delivery however I paid for skirting to be primed and the top edge was not primed properly so I had to re-prime. Also the surface was not fully dry when packed so a couple of the planks stuck together and need rubbing down and re-priming. I am happy with the skirting board but would not bother with paying for a primer coat again.

So impressed with this company, I ordered some skirting boards which were delivered within 3 days. Unfortunately one was damaged when it arrived, I contacted them and they sent me a replacement board (again, very quickly!) Would definitely recommend

Bought some skirting & architrave from metre direct, we had a problem with the delivery by Tufnell's, because 1 package was missing and the other was damaged, I spoke to joseph Phillips who soon got it rectified, and made my complete order again and sent it with a different courier 2days later, thank you joe kind regards w. mccart

The company gave me great service and really went the extra mile when my order was temporary misplaced by the logistics company they use to deliver the order. As soon as I called to enquire about the status, they offered to drive all the way to the depot which was 2 hours away and personally locate my order. To avoid further delay, they then hired a van the next day to ensure I received my order in time for my carpenter. I will definitely use them again.

Ordered oak bullnose v-groove skirting and architraves for a complete bungalow refurbishment as price offered by Joe was comparable with standard Ogee/Torus products available locally. Product that arrived was of excellent quality, all boards were a consistent colojr, grain and had a good lacquered finish applied. Will look stunning when fitted. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Metres Direct to friends/family etc and will definitely use them in the future.
