I am thrilled to write a 100% positive review about something! I ordered 72 Inch x 100 Ft BetterVue Invisible Screen in the beginning of April. It arrived sooner than I expected which is always a plus. I got busy screening in the deck so the cats could be out here enjoying it with me. I am pleased to say that the installation went very smoothly even though I've never screened anything before. I did have an extra set of hands which I would highly recommend. I used lathe strips to hold the screen and a nail gun to secure the lathe. I didn't particularly want to use 'pet screen' as it's heavier and darker, but I was a little worried about the strength and ability of standard screen to handle young cats. They have shown little interest in the screens inside but this would be different because birds and squirrels are just on the other side and you cannot see the screen! So far one 10 pounder has been seen hanging from the screen which resulted in zero damage. 😅 Also I had to pull some of the lathe off to re-adjust and the screen showed no damage from pulling it off of the nail. I also accidentally caught some with a screw and it did very little damage so I'm not worried about the cats much now. I was covering 3' x 6' openings and I'm happy to say that it looks nice and tight. I am amazed at how invisible it is! Numerous times I've had a mini panic attack when seeing the cats outside because I couldn't see the screen! But I'm getting used to that. 😅 I bought plenty of extra, so I cut a large piece to make a screen curtain for the slider door so I won't have to open and close the slider screen. I used a tension rod and sewed a little pocket to slide the rod through and sewed heavy washers to the bottom for weight. I'm probably going to make shopping bags out of any remaining screen. You could also make a cool Halloween costume with it or have a Black Wedding dress! 😎 It's basically mesh fabric. I love it! I highly recommend this product. The kittens LOVE it! And so do I!
