The item being rated here is the "Pollen Guard" screen fabric. I received the product after a mix up on delivery. It was well packaged but lacked any installation guidance or guidelines. I was using it to enclose a screen porch in the Adirondack Mountains of NY where pine pollen is a real issue. I'd originally used a No-See-Um screen and was satisfied with it's durability and ability to keep even the smallest insects, out. The Metro Screen material was less than half the weight of the material I was replacing. I attempted to staple it in place with procedures used successfully on the earlier material. Could not obtain a uniform and smooth stretch. I finally had to mill a .120" or 1/8th inch groove in the wooden frames and use the .120 retainer spline. The fabric bunched and defied easy installation. It took repeated attempts to obtain a good stretch. When the spline tool slipped once, the screen was cut very easily. It seemed to me that it was made up of too small a diameter runs in the fabric to perhaps facilitate light transmission, but the resultant product is just to finicky to install. A painful experience. Hopefully it will keep the pollen out and I'll write a revised and more positive review.
