Samson Heavy-Duty Sliding Screen Door Kit Get Heavy-Duty Sliding Screen Door Performance in an Unassembled Kit Get the same heavy-duty performance as the assembled Samson door in a convenient unassembled sliding screen door kit. Built with heavy-duty extruded aluminum and premium hardware, the Samson sliding screen door kit is designed for homeowners replacing flimsy, bent, or jam-prone patio screen doors with a stronger, long-term solution. This heavy duty sliding screen door ships unassembled to help lower shipping costs and make delivery easy to handle without sacrificing quality. Each kit includes step-by-step instructions for DIY-friendly assembly along with sizing, custom frame colors, and specialty mesh options. Why Choose the Samson Unassembled Sliding Screen Door? This custom sliding screen door kit is well suited for frequently used patio doors, homes with pets or children, and high-traffic outdoor spaces. Smooth Rolling with Four Adjustable Steel Rollers Four adjustable steel rollers help the door glide smoothly while allowing for fit adjustments after installation. This helps improve alignment and installation for your patio screen doors. Flush-Mount Auto-Latch Handle for Secure Closure The flush-mount auto-latch handle creates a cleaner appearance while keeping your door securely closed during everyday use. Made-to-Size for a Better Patio Door Fit No two patio door openings are exactly alike. Even "standard-size" doors can vary over time, and that's why the Samson is built as a made to size sliding screen door. Custom sizing helps improve fit, reduce binding, and create smoother long-term operation. Before ordering your sliding screen door replacement, carefully measure your opening and select the exact width and height you need for your door. No hole's were drilled in side rails and there was no jig sent to drill holes.Slightly bent corner on side rail. When you did drill the holes in the top and bottom rails the bir thats left inside makes it hard to slide keys in. I pushed a big file in to knock the bir off.

This can not be the right parts, they don't even match up. The standard door I got from Milgard is exactly the same frame, but if the pieces are not cut correctly it doesn't fit and will not work. I've been waiting over a week for a response.

Install instructions don’t match hardware. Corners don’t screw together so they don’t line up correctly. Door latch hardware don’t match instructions. Door striker don’t work correctly.

The screen door arrived with the frame corners bent and one wheel out of its assembly. I carefully corrected all of that but the door does not stay on its track. Even when adjusted so that the top and bottom wheels are as far out as possible so that the door has almost no wiggle room, it falls off of the track virtually every time we use it. And because I have to use a screwdriver and adjust the wheels in order to get it back onto the track, the screen door is ultimately useless.

Screen door paint was scratched when I received it. Was not happy about it since I paid a ton of money for it. Everything else was fine with it.

Their way of measuring online disregards comments and instructions. Shouldn’t have been any question as to my measurements and comments, but they disregard and cut without the exact measurements provided. Hence screen slides horribly.

Pros: heavier frame than cheaper doors. Handle is built into the frame rather than screwed through the screen. Slides nice. Latches closed firmly. Cons: Came with a hole in the screen, which I unfortunately discovered after assembly. The corners take some messing with to get them to fit square. The tension of the screen is what actually holds the pieces together, they don't join tight. Some surface scratches, even though it was unassembled in a box. The door is a bit too small, even though I ordered the same dimensions as my previous door. Overall: Nice door, but overpriced for the quality.
